Disappointing and overpriced
Pros:

Good view from my room, comfortable bed and in a reasonable location about 20 minutes walk from town. It was also pretty clean.

Cons:

Tired decor (the pictures look much better than the reality), very noisy as no soundproofing and rather overpriced. If it was a reasonable price it wouldn't be so bad but a broken tap, shower tray and oven extractor cover are all easy and cheap fixes which really should be done. There wasn't even a kettle. I feel the owner is just taking money without really caring about the experience of the customer. 5 pm is also a late check in. I would not go back. Wi-fi also kept dipping in and out which was frustrating.

- słychać kompletnie wszytsko co dzieje się poza pokojem, obracanie na łóżku czy chrapanie
- żeby dojść do obiektu trzeba zejść ze stromej górki o której nikt nie wspomina a przy śniegu i lodzie nie jest to wcale takie bezpieczne
- w opisie pokoju piszą że jest bezpłatny zestaw kosmetyków czego nie ma
- skrzypiące materace

I wish I could have loved this place but...
Pros:

-The location is close enough to town(15 min walking). If you do not have big luggage, you can take 24 bus from the airport and get off at Storskogen stop, then it is a short downhill walk to the Heim.
-The view from the communal area is gorgeous.
-One of the few affordable accommodation options in Tromsø

Cons:

-3 Wifi networks available but none of them worked for me.
-No kettle in the kitchen, I would have loved to get a cup of tea as the room radiator was not so warm.
-Many notices listing rules are posted like a student dorm and it was rather stifling, especially in the bathroom. Shared bathrooms naturally require consideration, but being suggested to limit shower time to 5-10 minute made it hard to relax.
-The walls are thin, and I was sometimes woken by other guests' voices or footsteps as it sounded as if someone had entered my room (I am usually quite tolerant of noise).
-The information sheet in the room states that if you leave a 5 star review, you will be given a larger discount on your next stay. Rewarding good guests may be reasonable but I felt quite conflicted.

Good and affordable place to stay in Tromsø
Pros:

The atmosphere of the place is warm and welcoming. The view from the window is excellent. The location is good, walking distance to the city centre. Price is reasonable.

Cons:

It would be nice to have some pictures on the walls in the room.

Pros:

Knus geusthouse met 2 keuken en ruime woonkamer. 3 badkamers. Ik had een kamer op de eerste verdieping. Op 15 minuten loopafstand van centrum Tromso. Supermarkt op 5 minuten loopafstand

Cons:

Er kunnen nog late incheckers komen na 23 uur en/ of gasten die heel vroeg uitchecken. Dat kun je meekrijgen ivm dat het best gehorig gebouw is.
