Petit-déjeuner, situation
Réceptionniste pas des plus accueillants, à première vue l'hôtel n'est pas un établissement familial.
Nous avons demandé une chambre dans les étages supérieurs, mais on nous a placés au 1er étage (peut-être l'hôtel était-il complet?).
Location is great, very central and very close to the Alpin Express (to the glaciers). Breakfast is decent with enough fueling choices. The hiking trail was only minutes away from the hotel so great for dog walks. The room was spacious. Dogs are welcome and I wasn't charged extra, which is appreciative. The hotel is functional and good for a short stay. The bed mattress was good, a bit on the hard side if you prefer that.
The ground-floor room (I stayed in King room 1) felt quite dark and was also fully exposed to passers-by on the street, making it necessary to keep the curtains closed most of the time. The advertised mountain view of the room is definitely overstated. While you can see it from the terrace if you look up through the tree, the view is not really visible from the room itself. The bathroom features glass walls, which further reinforces the need to keep the curtains closed for privacy. This could also feel uncomfortable when sharing the room with a friend. The shower design is also impractical, as water tends to spill out into the room during use. Overall, the layout doesn't prioritize functionality and detracts from comfort and convenience. Lastly, the pillows and towels need replacing. The pillows go completely flat once you lie on them, so they provide virtually no support. The towels were also very worn out. Not every single one was in this condition, but most were, as shown in the attached photo.

Durch die Lage ganz hinten im Dorf ist die Aussicht auf das Bergmassiv völlig unverbaut. Das Frühstücks-Buffet ist vielseitig, alles frisch und lecker. Die Einrichtung des Zimmers ist sehr modern, man fühlt sich wohl.
