Lovely b&b but my experience did not match the cost of the stay.
Pros:

Beautiful rooms, comfy bed and included breakfast was delicious. Very centrally located at deal. They also helped us with our bags up the stairs which was great.

Cons:

The wifi didn’t work, the rooms were very stuffy on a hot day and the windows only opened a few inches. They provided a fan but it was a large floor fan so very impractical - we had to perch it on a bedside table.

Overall I did not think the stay was worth £250 a night despite being quite nice.

Pros:

Staff lovely. Location great. Decor lovely. Room 9 was lovely. Bed very comfy. Nice breeze through the opened windows. Small & possibly overpriced for the size. The tea facilities on the landings were a nice touch.

Cons:

My friend had room 7. This was hot & stuffy. We asked to open the window but were told the window lock had got stuck & it could not be opened which on a boiling hot day was ridiculous. A window that cant be opened must contravene safety regs. She had a very uncomfortable & restless night in a hot stuffy airless room. The shower room needs a velux blind.

Great place to say in the heart of Deal
Pros:

A thoughtfully designed hotel / bar / restaurant. A fun and vibrate interior and really friendly and welcoming staff.

Cons:

Given it is an old building, noise travels when people are walking in communal areas which is to be expected.

Relaxing and pleasant
Pros:

Welcoming staff. Pleasant and quaint room. Sadly we had a family emergency and had to curtail our stay. But we will be back soon to sample the restaurant.

Cons:

Parking was a little bit awkward for a one night stay. Needed to move between car parks.

Overall quite a disappointing stay for the amount paid - almost £300 for one night. Compared to other hotels it’s probab
Pros:

We didn’t try the restaurant but had a drink - the food looked very tasty and the service of the main barman was brilliant. He was super on it along with two other younger bar men & could tell he took a lot of pride in the drinks they were making/serving. It was nice to see.

Cons:

Bathroom
- didn’t have a full bath, it’s a half bath
- No amenities like toothbrushes, shower caps ect that you would expect when paying so much.
Room felt quite small & dated
- quite loud being on the road side due to the single glazing.
- No drinks in the room - you have to make tea/coffee outside
- No WiFi or TV
- VERY creaky floorboards so can hear everyone moving around/coming up and down the stairs
- Bed was two single beds pushed together which meant you could feel the dip between the mattresses unfortunately

Pros:

The staff were brilliant and food was unreal

Cons:

There were quite a few things in our room (4) that looked tired or needed fixing (one of the chairs, a leg on the bath)
