Late check out options were limited, but staff did their best to help.
La situation
Ce n’était pas très propre et un peu vieillot
The room was beautiful and clean. It felt like a quiet oasis in Vegas.
When we turned down cleaning service at 9:30 in the morning, they didn't return when we hung the sign on the door a couple of hours later. Wouldn't usually matter but we were hoping to have coffee supplies refreshed.
How was the awaken at 3 AM to a very loud banging until 4 o’clock in which I determined it was waterhammer in the pipes. We had a suite , you could literally hear it in every end of the hotel, it was so loud it kept me up until I made ear plugs out of toilet paper just to fade the noise enough to sleep. Unbelievable
Excellent experience. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of living space, although storage space was limited. Good air conditioning. Housekeeping was prompt, timely and thorough. Views of the mountains and the southern part of the strip. The Reserve is separate from the Park MGM, so it was quiet and well appointed, with a separate check in. We attended events at T-Mobile arena which was a short walk. Non smoking hotel and casino a definite plus and relatively rare in Vegas. Restaurants were all great- Primrose for breakfast, Bavette's for dinner and/or drinks, Juniper for cocktails, Eataly for a variety of Italian food, even a Starbucks. The staff was friendly, helpful, and customer-foucsed. A couple of problems on check in with room keys were quickly resolved and appropriate compensation provided. It is not inexpensive but provides good value. We will be back.
This was my first visit to this hotel since it was rebranded due to the sale of the NoMad brand to Hilton. Honestly, the only thing that changed was the signage. I had hoped they would "brighten up" the top floors of Park MGM, both in the hallways and in the guest rooms. It's exceptionally dark, even with all the room lights on.
The electronic check-in seemed to work fine, and my phone allowed me to select the correct floor on the elevator. However, when I got to the room, the door would not unlock with my phone. I had to visit the front desk for a physical key. They re-sent the electronic key to my phone, but it still didn't work. A minor annoyance, though.
I love the "Central South Strip" location, which is very convenient to a lot of retail experiences. It was also fun to see "Bruno Mars Day" celebrated, where they honored the singer with a parade, renamed Park Ave. to Bruno Mars Blvd., and of course, listened to some of the performer's repertoire.
I absolutely love the fact that they completely ban smoking in the casino as well as the hotel. I'm surprised none of the other casinos have gone smoke-free yet.
MGM Rewards made my trip possible - the room was comped, and I was given substantial resort credit as well. I think I wound up spending only $80 in gratuities during a four-night visit. Thanks, MGM!
This is an interesting hotel. It is nice to have a small boutique setup within a larger hotel becuase it makes check-in quicker and service easier. We had good service and the rooms were comfortable. The gym was fine - not as nice as the really high-end casinos, but good enough for sure. The Park MGM casino is fine and has some good food. Rideshare, taxis, the lobby, the gym, coffee, etc. are all very convenient and close, which is really great compared to other casinos. The only thing that was not ideal was that the room and bathroom was smaller than it is at some of the other nice casinos.
