Staff friendly and room fit for purpose but noise at night means we will not retrurn
Pros:

Clean high ceilings convenient location for family in Melbourne

Cons:

No warning room above a the lying with very loud music making sleep impossible until after midnight. Probably fine if not on a Friday night (our stay) or a Saturday night. Had we had advanced knowledge we would not have stayed there on. Friday night.

Lovely hotel - the character of the old building has been updated with a really tasteful vibe.
Pros:

The location was great. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was great.

Cons:

The seating could be much more comfortable so that you can watch the TV in comfort. Or put the TV in the bedroom.

A great place that is well priced. Have stayed here a few times and will keep returning.
Pros:

Friendly staff, quiet room that is well appointed, very comfortable bed.

Cons:

Shower is nice but a lot of water splashes on the bathroom floor.

Comfortable - but stained bedding
Pros:

Room was a good size and comfy.

Cons:

The big yellow (I assume) urine stain on the doona.
I was covered up by the sheet, but uncovered once the sheet was pulled back. No way this wasn't noticed when the bed was made, and pretty gross that it was left on the bed. We only noticed it late in the evening - too late to go and speak with anyone.

Great location. Cool design, comfy bed. Enjoyed a pub meal downstairs.

Cons:

Just a couple of little things, there was no bin or tea towels in our room when we arrived. And no dining chairs for the little dining table. Of course they were supplied when asked, but would normally expect them to be there. The curtain also didn’t fully close, was hanging off the track a little.
