Something different.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent. The landlady is very helpful and friendly, saved us getting our car stuck and missing our boat home. The place is FULL of character and therefore not at all modern and fashionably decorated, but that isn't what we wanted. The room was very clean and had everything we needed.

Cons:

Could do with some decoration, but not to the point of spoiling its character.

Great staff and location, overall good value at the price.
Pros:

a good location, between the railway station and central area. a warm welcome, friendly and considerate staff. pre booking request was met in full re rooms, Thank you.

Cons:

The building has many original features and the stairs are very steep and difficult with luggage. The ventilation in the rooms was not good , made worse due to a heatwave and some portable air con units would do the trick.

heerlijke dagen in dit hotel om de hitte in Amsterdam te ontvluchten
Pros:

Aan mijn verzoek om een rustige kamer die enigszins koel was (het was over de 30 graden) kon voldaan worden. De kamer was idd rustig en koel. Daarbij had ik graag een inloopdouche gehad in plaats van een bad maar dat kon helaas niet omdat het hotel al bijna vol was. De bedden sliepen heerlijk en het ontbijt was uitstekend. Vanuit het hotel loop je zo de binnenstad in.

Charmigt enkelt hotell
Pros:

Läget var perfekt, nära till allt och mysig kanal precis utanför
Parkering på gatan utanför som betalades enkelt med easypark.
Charmig och personlig inredning
Helt ok frukost

Cons:

Lite slitet
Skjutdörr till toaletten ogillas.
Brant smal trappa till andra våning kan upplevas jobbig

Pros:

Very beautiful location, quiet and full of charm and history. The staff is so kind and helpful and the receptionist is one of the most kind persons you can ask for. We will be back for sure next year.

Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder
Pros:

Die Unterkunft ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen , aber sehr sauber , sehr freundliches Personal und ein gutes Frühstück.

Ehrwuerdiges Haus - mit einigen Herausforderungen

Ruhig gelegen, gut fuer hundehalter da direkt neben kleinem park. Altes haus mit charm, die besitzerin ist sehr nett und kuemmert sich.

Cons:

Extrem ringhoerig, man hoert jedes wort vom nachbarzimmer. Bei hohen temperaturen unglaublich warm im haus/gang/zimmern. Steilste treppe seit 30 jahren intensivem reisen. Mit koffer nicht zu bewaeltigen fuer aeltere reisende.
