Pros:

Great location, specially if you need to be on the south side of Dublin. Two lovely restaurants in the hotel, the rooftop is wonderful

Pros:

A very nice, small room

Cons:

Two minor gripes: there was no way to switch off the lights from the bed, and I never worked out how to turn the shower from downpour to hose setting

It's okay to stay overnight temporarily.
Pros:

When we checked in, there was no electricity in our room. The staff quickly helped us resolve the issue. Although breakfast wasn't a buffet, it was delicious.

Cons:

The hotel room was too small for a four-star hotel, especially for three people.

Awesome stuff
Pros:

The room was amazing, bed, shower, bits like hairdryer water bottle etc

Cons:

The view was just of a wall and and pipes, I did not pay for any better view so not complaining really! But I would say a room with no view could be a little cheaper than almost 200 quid

Pros:

Leuke kamer is gezellig ingericht

Cons:

Ontbijt is lekker je betaalt 18€ en krijgt 25€ budget jammer genoeg weinig vegetarische opties naast zoete dingen en het budget is eigenlijk 1 drankje en 1 ding van het menu wat voor mij te weinig is

Fab boutique hotel - just needs better bed linen
Pros:

We stayed 2 nights at The Devlin. The staff were uniformly friendly, helpful and charming - at reception, in the restaurant and bar and the cleaners. Our room was definitely very small but well equipped. The shower was great and the mattress very comfortable. The food in the restaurant at dinner and breakfast was excellent and beautifully presented. The only negative was the bed linen. It simply wasn't adequate for a 400 euro per night room. The duvet was short and skimpy - our feet stuck out the bottom!, the bottom sheet not large enough to properly tuck in and the pillows very mediocre. The quality of the linen was poor. For the price, the linen should have been luxurious which it most definitely wasn't. I would love to give 5 stars because everything else about our stay was fab but the combination of a very small room with mediocre bed linen (but a great mattress!) precludes me.

Une cage à lapin pour un prix de palace. A éviter !
Pros:

La proximité du tramway !

Cons:

Le lit était coincé entre 3 murs et un passage de 1m constituait le seul espace de la chambre pour un prix par nuit de 250€ à peu près, du jamais vu!!! Même l'eau en carafe, parce que filtrée, était payante !

Built in beds in 2026! Not good!
Pros:

At €400 a night these rooms are exactly what you’d get in a caravan! Built in! Ridiculous that nowhere did it say you need to be 5 ft tall to enjoy. Witt a tall family this was a mad expensive two night stay we would not recommend to anyone. Paris hotel size in bloody ranelagh! Not good. The hotels only mention of small size rooms is the word cosy on room type. 1/10

Compact room but everything you need in it; bring a coat hanger or 2
Pros:

Friendly staff, no noise from the bar and a good breakfast on the roof.

Cons:

Very thin walls so you could hear the stuff you’d rather not, in the morning

Dream Wedding at The Devlin hotel
Pros:

We had our wedding reception in The Devlin hotel and honestly we could not recommend it enough. If you are considering it, book your wedding here you won’t be disappointed.
The staff are incredible!
Every single person we dealt with went above and beyond for us.
A special mention to Ahmed who not only took care of everything on the day but had so much fun with us at the same time.
We had our drinks reception in the Devlin bar and meal and party upstairs in Laylas.
Our guests were obsessed. The sunset views and vibes in Laylas were compared to Ibiza and the food was impeccable.
The hotel has such a cool vibe. The rooms are perfect and have everything you need.

Very stylish place and nice staff but the room was tiny with no desk. Parking was an issue.
Pros:

The hotel is very stylish, the staff are lovely, rooftop restaurant has lovely views, the location is good.

Cons:

I booked the wrong hotel. I found the room uncomfortably small, no storage or desk to work at. I would rather these comforts than gadgets like a fancy hairdryer (that requires a deposit fee). Parking was limited, five minutes walk away and for an extra fee, it took me a while to figure out the instructions. There is little available street parking and what there is looks to be time-limited. Again is me not the hotel, but I don't like the idea of soft padding surrounding a hotel bed, would feel happier in something that is easier to keep clean.
