DO NOT STAY HERE! First off the lift was broke and we were on the 3rd floor so as you can imagine lugging all our bags upstairs with 2 young kids wasnt ideal. Then we opened the door to the room, we were hit with the smell of poo, there was holes in the walls, dirt and grime and who knows what all over the walls, there was writing in what looked like blood on the wall, there was blood on the mattress of my child's bed, the bathroom in the shower tiles was a pinkish orange colour from the build up of skin and not being cleaned, there was crisps on the floor with something sticky in the carpet. Spoke to reception who didnt have a clue how to handle the situation or how to help resolve it. Very rude and unhelpful. My advise to anyone with children to NOT stay here.
The only passable thing that could potentially be “liked” about this property is the location.
I’m not sure how they’ve managed to land such a city centre shop front with the standards they currently employ at the establishment.
That being said - I can’t imagine the living hell that would be this hotel, had “Aura Nightclub” been open, given that a lot of the rooms face directly onto that, with the single glazing windows of which one was cracked.
Where on earth to start?
Prior to my arrival at the hotel I’d called regarding parking and was told at a volume of around 3 decibels whilst being mumbled over the phone - “we parking yes”.
Upon arrival to the hotel however, at the front there is max stay 1 hour spaces, I entered the “reception” of the hotel which could also be compared to what I would picture as the front office of purgatory, and was once again told at a volume not even a bat could register, that parking was available at the back of the hotel.
I drove around the cobbled street and was met with the “car park” - 3 spaces that were painted in what I imagine was Thatcher’s Britain, with poor access next to a back entrance, what a lovely advert.
Having parked, been given my room key with no instruction on how to actually get to my room, I made my way to the stairwell with a conveniently placed elevator - that would be convenient had the elevator worked, an out of service sign was placed on the door that had enough dust on it to prove the elevator probably hasn’t worked this side of the new Prime Minister.
In the hallways they boast carpeted floors and painted walls with plenty of signs saying no entry and staff only, I dread to think what condition those areas are in as the public facing areas had soiled carpets at every turn and the walls looked like a scene out of the hit Thriller series - Dexter.
Upon getting to my room, I made the mistake of believing the key insert on the door handle would work - it did not, instead a shoddily placed shed lock is applied to the door about 2/3’s of the way up - hardly secure as I noticed when I entered the room and noticed a chunk of the door frame missing where the original lock would have been, I dread to think in what scenario that was removed.
Vraiment,passez votre chemin.

Location
Difficult communication at the reception desk. Reservation for 5 people, received a room for 4. Rooms were dirty, one mug in the room, and it was dirty. Third-floor window unsecured - dangerous. Cracked window pane. There was no light in the bathroom. Attempts to get help at the front desk were unsuccessful due to the language barrier. The price was definitely inadequate for the standards.
Hair everywhere mattresses yellow stained, bathroom was disgusting, walls turned colour from room being smoke in, came with the milk sugar and tea bags but no kettle, staff was nice, but actual room its self was disgusting
Nothing, disgusting
Worst hotel I’ve ever been.
The dirtiest room I’ve ever seen in my life
Only the location.
When we arrived, apparently the room was not ready. The person at the reception asked us to wait and took 10mins to had in the key. When I entered the room, I realised that the room was very unclean. There was a bad smell from around and from the bathroom. Tea coffee and sugar were left but I had to ask for a kettle for a couple of times. It was really uncomfortable to stay overnight with the bad smell.
The photos shown in Booking com was misleading. I booked a room with single beds, but the room I was give had two bunk beds. It seems the CITI hotel is a 3 star hotel, but if it is given 3 stars, how should the other better hotel rated ? My suggestion is this type of hotels should be removed from Booking.co, if not, Booking.com will loose its credibility.
Nothing
The entire hotel from the first step in the door is filthy. Disgustingly filthy. The room I was given was filthy , the furniture broken and the window wouldn't close.
There is a nightclub and sports bar right outside the window that doesn't close.
I left after 30 min which was the time it took to find another suitable hotel.
Don't believe the positive reviews of this establishment. Places like this should not be available on booking apps.
Pomocna obsługa i w miarę wygodne i czyste łóżko.
Lack of hot water, smell of cigarettes on 2nd floor, broken lift. Probably more but I checked out after 2 hours and decamped elsewhere.
Location was good
Water was cold so bath was like warm at best even the shower was pretty tepid

None
I like nothing.
Staff, location and clean linen I guess
Lift not working, got a room on the third floor.
Shower and hot water not working, toilet seat broken.
Asked for a change of bedroom: hot water still not working, holes in the roof, mattress' springs pressing firmly on my body, decoration and carpets old and very tired. No bedside table, so phone charging on the floor. Furniture in dire need of going to the tip.
