Parking for guests of the Rydges Wellington Airport is available in the Wellington Airport multi-level car park building on levels 2 to 7 at a rate of $30.00 per overnight stay. The Wellington Airport car park building is located adjacent to the hotel. Upon entering the car parking building, you will be required to take a ticket. Please present this ticket to Hotel Reception for validation prior to exit.
If you do not validate your ticket at Hotel Reception prior to exit, standard Wellington Airport car park pricing applies. Hotel staff have no way of knowing if you have parked your car in the car park so cannot remind you to validate this ticket. There is no way to reverse this process once started.
For the health and safety of our guests, each accommodations room has individually channeled and controlled air conditioning.

Convenience
Tricky to find reception when arriving through airport
Proximity to terminal is a must for an early flight, super easy to make your way down. Huge sized bed, very comfortable. Well equipped room, with great tv and coffee station.
Receptionist wasn’t the most welcoming, not a good first impression. Although the room was clean on the surface, as shown in the picture, a build up of dust on the bedside table is unacceptable.
It’s close to the Airport, obviously and it’s quite nice to look at.
It wasn’t as clean as I would expect and staff were not as friendly or helpful as I hoped they might be.
Location is fantastic. We were with our 2 kids (7 months & 2 yrs). Our flight like many was canceled on Friday, so staying at the Rydges worked for us. Thank goodness we stayed for only 1 night.
The room was FULL of dust, my sinus started up. We could see the bathroom needed a good clean, the corners have not been touched in a long time. Nice bathroom but if it not maintained then it goes to crap. The closet door where the hangers stay are hard to get into and hang clothes because the side the door was put on. The deamour of the reception guy when we checked in was a little off (not the one that helped us). The room was cold, the AC goes up to 25.5 we were cold most of the night. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend it or stay there again. We will use our preferred hotel no matter the distance.

Location and airport connection
There are no tables or chairs in the rooms which makes it hard or impossible to do work if you are on business. It is also an occupational health hazard to have no chairs for elderly people to sit at a table.
