Friendly stay in a countryside villa 10 mins drive from Lucca’s old town.
Pros:

The staff were so lovely - friendly and helpful. The restaurant served some really great food when we dined there one evening. The hotel was in a nice and quiet garden setting albeit a short drive from Lucca’s old town.

Cons:

The room we had was comfortable enough for our short stay, but quite basic and a bit tired in its décor (e.g. wobbly tap, shower door didn’t close properly). May have been a bit cramped with two people and two large suitcases if staying much longer. Breakfast buffet was fine but fairly simple (e.g. we weren’t offered any freshly cooked items as we’d experienced in some other hotels).

Pros:

We verbleven 1 nacht in Villa San Michele. Dit verblijf was zeer aangenaam. Mooie kamer, prachtig domein, zeer goed eten/drinken in het restaurant en een aangenaam ontbijt. Wat opviel, enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel! Een aanrader!

Zauberhaftes Hotel
Pros:

Tolle Lage, ruhig und zentral. Wunderschönes Anwesen mit tollem Pool. Sehr köstliche Küche im Restaurant.
