Pros:

Väldigt bra läge - man hamnar mitt i smeten nästan direkt. Fin hotell och fräscha rum. Bra frukost. Personalen var mycket trevlig och hjälpsam.

Cons:

Spa är dock inte värt pengarna - mycket buller - mer som en simhall. Krångligt att boka massage. Om ni bokar, se till att ni hamnar på rätt hotell. Den dagen var vi andra som har bokat fel. Vi fick möjlighet att boka dagen efter, men då var vi redan i luften :).

Laadukas hotelli aivan vanhan kaupungin vieressä hyvien liikenneyhteyksien päässä lentokentältä
Pros:

Hotelli on vanhan kaupungin ja tärkeimpien nähtävyyksien vieressä, joihin on lyhyt kävelymatka. Myös vanhan kaupungin ravintolat ja kahvilat lähellä. Bussiyhteys lentokentältä on kätevä, pysäkki on lähes hotellin pääoven edessä ja vuoroja kulkee tiheästi. Kahden hengen huone oli siisti, tilava ja hiljainen (kuten olimme toivoneet), ja sänky oikein mukava. Huoneissa lukittava tallelokero ja ilmastointi. Joka kerroksessa juomavesiautomaatti ja huoneessa täytettävä vesikannu ja juomalasit. Aamiainen on erittäin monipuolinen. Hotellin pohjakerroksessa ilmainen ja monipuolinen ilmastoitu kuntosali. Alakerran ravintola oikein hyvä, jos hotellille saapuu niin nälkäisenä, ettei ehdi etsiä vanhasta kaupungista sopivaa ravintolaa.

Cons:

Aamiaisella olisi hyvä olla teepussien lisäksi myös irtoteetä, teesiivilöitä ja teepannuja. Teepussivalikoima näytti runsaalta, mutta maustamatonta mustaa teetä vain yhtä laatua ja sekin loppui kesken. Kahviautomaateille tuli paikoin pitkiä jonoja varsinkin niinä aamuina, kun osa kahviautomaateista oli poissa käytöstä. Teevesi oli erillisessä automaatissa, mutta vesi oli joko haaleaa tai kylmää, jolloin piti jonottaa kahvi-automaatille, josta sai kiehuvaa vettä. Eli teenjuojat voisi huomioida aamiaisella paremmin!

Hotelli sijaitsee joen rannalla, mutta joen ja hotellin välissä erittäin vilkkaasti liikennöity katu. Melu ja pakokaasut eivät häiritse, jos huoneet eivät ole kadulle päin.

Pros:

Hotel is in a great spot. It is on a main rd but never really heard the traffic. Very clean everywhere. Spa is fantastic, went every day after a very good breakfast. Breakfast is a very good mix of English and Latvian.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone. We went to the sister hotel further into town to try the tapas bar, food and again the service was brilliant.
I do think they should make more of there panarama roof area more. Unfortunately it was shut when we were there.
We will go back next year as the hotel and Riga itself is so relaxing.
Thank you to all that looked after us.
PS: DO MOT GET IN A TAXI FROM THE AIRPORT UNLESS YOU KNOW THE PRICE. Should be 25/30 euro, we ended up with a 56 euro billđź«Ł
