Pros:

Das Frühstück war richtig lecker. Es steht jederzeit ein Tuktuk zur Verfügung, der uns ins Zentrum gebracht hat und wieder abgeholt hat.

Cons:

Die guten Zeiten hat das Resort leider hinter sich. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit dem Private-Pool. Das Wasser was trüb, der Föhn funktionierte nicht, der Schrank ist auseinandergefallen und das Klo war irgendwo undicht.

Está en buena zona, con comercios y zonas para visitar.

El sofá cama era incómodo. No era un sofá cama al uso, era un sofá que se hacía más grande, por lo que no tiene propiamente un colchón. La habitación para 4 personas es bastante justa, para dos días está bien pero para más no.

Il resort è davvero bellissimo, immerso nella natura e completo di tutto ciò che si può desiderare. Il personale è stato super disponibile e attento a ogni nostra esigenza: ad esempio, il phon in camera non funzionava e in meno di 10 minuti hanno risolto il problema, dimostrando grande cura e attenzione nei nostri confronti.
La stanza è molto spaziosa e confortevole, mentre il resort è un vero e proprio paradiso, soprattutto grazie alla splendida piscina e alla natura circostante. La colazione è sempre stata abbondante e varia, con un’ottima scelta sia di dolce che di salato.
Ci hanno anche organizzato un tuk tuk per raggiungere Lion Rock all’alba e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Un soggiorno davvero piacevole, reso ancora più speciale dalla gentilezza e dalla disponibilità di tutto lo staff.

Lovely family villa, great pool and close to Lion rock
Pros:

Lovely family villa, clean with good air con and a mini fridge. The pool was heavenly, and it was very close to Lion rock (walking distance) and a quick tuk tuk to Pidurangala. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed staying here.

Cons:

There is no focal reception point so we weren’t always sure where to find someone if we had a question but a quick walk round and there was always someone around to help. It is a family business, and they were all keen to take good care of guests.

Highly recommend to stay at Palmyra
Pros:

Palmyra resort was outstanding and you should book here. The family that owns and runs the resort are very kind. The room was spacious and we could sit out on our porch. There was hot water and a clean bed and indoor pool. Breakfast was outstanding, made quickly and fresh for us every morning at the time of our choice. The pool and general atmosphere of the resort is lovely as if you are in a jungle. The hosts were always available and could arrange tuk tuks and always more than happy to help with anything. You will be happy you booked here. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

La piscina, el desayuno es bueno. Habitaciones amplias. El chico de 19 años que hace todas las tareas es muy eficiente. Nos facilitaron su vehículo para acercarnos al pueblo.

La piscina era genial, el bungalow también. Entorno muy bien cuidado.
Lo regenta una familia muy agradable, pero no vayas con prisa, porque son poco personal y lentos.Ademas no entienden muy bien el inglés . El desayuno es muy bueno y abundante.
Está un poco escondido entre caminos, y ellos mismos te avisan que por la noche no salgas caminando porque puedes encontrar elefantes hostiles. Nosotros alquilamos una moto y genial!

Pros:

Wir haben 4 Nächte im Familienzimmer mit Privat Pool übernachtet. Den Privatpool haben wir kaum genutzt, da die große Pool Area (für alle Gäste) so schön war. Es gab ausreichend Liegen, Schattenplätze, und eine Art Baumhaus für die Kinder.
Das Frühstück war sehr gut und frisch zubereitet, daher sollte man etwas Zeit mitbringen (das isr aber ganz normal in Sri Lanka).

Ein tolles Restaurant: HAVEN GRILL ist fussläufig erreichbar (300m). Wie haben dort mehrfach sehr gut gegessen (authentische Küche, riesige Portionen, total liebes Personal).

Um andere Restaurants zu erreichen haben wir einen Fahrer gebucht.

Cons:

Der geschäftstüchtige Besitzer hat ein Partner-Restaurant, zu dem man umsonst gefahren wird. Das wird auch stark offeriert. Qualität der Speisen war nicht sehr gut und der Service hat sehr, sehr lange gedauert.
