There was no stay — no room was available despite having a confirmed booking.
Cons:

Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. We had made and paid for a booking through Booking.com, but when we arrived at the hotel, there was nobody at the reception to assist us with check-in.

What made the situation even more frustrating was that we later found out that the hotel was actually fully booked, even though the room was still available to book on Booking.com. We had a confirmed booking, yet there was no room available when we arrived.

To make matters worse, we were unable to get our refund immediately. We were told that we had to wait 6–12 working days for the refund to be processed. This is extremely inconvenient, especially because we had to find and pay for another hotel on the spot due to the hotel’s failure to honour our original booking.

It simply doesn’t make sense that guests have to bear the financial burden and wait days for their money to be returned when the issue was caused by the hotel’s availability and booking management.

Overall, this was a very frustrating and disappointing experience. A confirmed booking should mean that a room is actually available, and guests should not be left stranded without assistance or immediate resolution.

Too bad. We definitely expected better.
