Pros:

A lovely hotel in a remote area. While we didn’t get to see the northern lights on our stay, the hotel itself self made up for it with free hot beverages to take as you wanted. A lovely balcony to sit out and admire the view of the area too

Pros:

Property was great. We loved that it seemed to be tucked away like a hidden gem. Everyone that works there are friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, bar comfortable (don’t miss happy hour), and the room was clean and felt like home away from home.

Great for Northern lights potential with some nice extras.
Pros:

Northern lights wake up was a deciding factor during our time in Iceland and it worked at Landhotel! They called and we ran outside and saw them. Breakfast was excellent. Crepe station was perfect. Coffee/tea/cocoa in lobby 24hrs is a very nice and appreciated touch.

Cons:

Walls are a bit thin so we could hear people in other rooms, once we put our white noise machines on, sounds were muffled.

Wonderful modern hotel with great staff, a wonderful breakfast, and spa facilities.
Pros:

A truly modern well equipped hotel in the countryside. Great breakfast and super friendly staff. Tomas was a pleasure to talk to. If the volcano Hekla is active this is the place to stay
