If you want something besides the normal, generic hotel experience, this is the place to stay. Great location that's close to restaurants and entertainment, convenient, secured parking ($30/day), and contemporary art throughout the hotel--from the outside entrance to the lobby. Claims to be the only US hotel where you book a room by color (red, yellow, blue, or green). We chose yellow, and everything was very yellow and cheery! Our window looked out over the city with a great view of the arch. Incredibly kind and helpful folks at the desk (big shout-out to the very sweet Melissa who fixed a booking problem for me). The rooftop bar is a hihlight you can't miss. They even have a DJ on Thursday evenings. Great room prices too.
Location and decor
HVAC was noisy, the staff didn't care about the complaints, the shower gels etc were not filled up
Alles
Nichts
The location was great and the hotel itself had a really neat art theme. The room was bigger than I thought it would be and had a really cool layout. The restaurant and rooftop bar in the building were a bonus!
Nothing. Everything was great!
Check in did take a while however she did give us free breakfast and bevy tickets. Rooms are IMMACULATE and beautifully done! We got a green room with a claw foot tub and it was AMAZING. Once you could get into the parking area there was plenty of parking room. The hotel has a really neat art theme and showcases many different types of art as well as has some for sale hanging on the walls. it is very upscale and in the down town area which is nice. The roof top bar had an amazing view. The breakfast was delicious (though do be wary it took us about an hour to even get our food).
Once we got there we had to park in a small circle lot that everyone else was also trying to park in. Check in ran late past standard check in time. Found a dirty used towel in room as well as the forgot the bodywash initially. You have to pay to park on the hotel premises (which you can only park the parking lot once you check in an it $30 overnight). Some of the staff are pleasant while others are a bit rude. The rooms are a bit warm, especially for summer, and you cant change the thermostat. The rooms are a bit noisy not just from outside noise but also you can hear the water moving through the walls from other rooms as well as the roof top bar music from a middle floor of the hotel. Breakfast will cost you extra if you don't receive a voucher ( Standard breakfast meal is on the high end about $17 and a standard beverage about $6) Oh and the lobby is on the top floor and you cant access any other rooms until you have your key cards, which you have to use special guest elevators to even access the options for rooms and scan your key card.
It was good but if I had to pay for it, it was over priced
Poor overall service. Over priced for the quality of rooms a bad service. I will put my thoughts on the internet and warn people to look elsewhere.
Colored fun room
No restaurant open Sunday in hotel or walking distance
It was so unique
The water pressure in the shower
Located downtown close to everything.
Kind of confusing on where to check in, it is on the twelfth floor.
the room and rooftop view
manager or whoever checked us in did not state there was other rooms available and had us wait over an hour past 4pm for our room, before bringing up the fact there were other rooms available. They also did not relay the message that parking wasn't free, as they did with everyone checking in before me. Rooms were nice clean and comfortable, staff was not very helpful at all.
It was a comfortable room in a nice section of town.
Nickel and dimed everything. Parking? Extra. Breakfast? Extra.
