Pros:

This hotel is oozing with charm, character, and history. It's located in an historic neighborhood, out of the hustle and bustle of the city (but not far) and is largely walkable. The church is stunning. I went to a meditation yoga class held in the sanctuary. Don't wear heels in New Orleans.

Would not recommend. Will not return
Cons:

Furnishings cheap and uncomfortable especially considering the very expensive price point. Decor drab. Staff indifferent and not particularly helpful. Not really a hotel but rather an event venue that happens to rent rooms

Beautiful hotel that didn’t seem private with all of the events they had booked there.
Pros:

We loved the property and the location and staff.

Cons:

We were there over a weekend and it seemed like every time we stepped out of the room we were stepping into someone else’s wedding. Never even got to take a peak inside the chapel because it was always occupied. So for such a high priced room rate it didn’t feel private so at all staying there.

Great hotel in great location.
Pros:

Quiet neighborhood within walking distance to Frenchman street, where we like to hang out. We stayed in the schoolhouse. Very lovely room with a comfortable bed.

Pros:

We have a daughter at Tulane and wanted to try a different part of the city. Loved the Marigny area, and the hotel is cool, but our room was very, very small, dark, and several of the lights didn't work. There was a wedding in the courtyard on Saturday afternoon, which is right off our room, and it felt strange to us. We asked the receptionist if we could move - she was very rude and just said it will be over in an hr. I dont think we'll stay there again.

Cons:

Small rooms, no areas to hang unless you were eating or drinking

Great historical stay.
Pros:

The walking distance to the French Quarter was great. The staff was very helpful and accomodating to my husband, who was recovering from back surgery.

Cons:

Bring an extension cord! There were only 3 outlets in our room and 2 were behind very heave iron beds I had to move from the wall.

Unique hotel
Pros:

It’s a unique hotel with very thoughtful design and great attention to detail. I loved the ambiance and the beauty of the space.
I especially liked the option to do yoga in the former church.

Cons:

The location is a bit remote and not as picturesque as the French Quarter.
The staff felt to me a bit cold.
The room (Rectory room) was quite small.
I had difficulty to regulate temperature in the room (it was either too cold or too hot).
