מלון מקסים במרכז קנדי עם פוטנציאל רב שלא ממומש במלואו. השירות טוב מאוד מצד אנשי הצוות. המלון קרוב מרחק הליכה קצר למקדש השן ולאגם. ארוחת הבוקר טובה מאוד ומגוונת. חדר המשפחה מרווח.
חדר המשפחה שקיבלנו היה ללא חלונות חיצוניים, זאת לאחר שהזמנו חדר דלוקס בבוקינג שהיה פחות מתאים לשהייה של ארבע נפשות. במהלך השהות שלנו בוצעו עבודות שיפוץ בשעות הבוקר ולקראת הפסטיבל שייערך בעיר. ייאמר לזכות המלון שסייע לנו ככל שהיה ביכולתו לעשות כדי להנעים את שהותנו.
Unfortunately, our experience at The Radh was completely unacceptable.
We booked this hotel expecting the standards its price and positioning suggest. At no point before our arrival were we informed that the hotel was undergoing expansion works. Had we known this beforehand, we would obviously have considered staying somewhere else.
Nobody mentioned the construction during check-in either. We only found out after arriving, through a notice left in our room. That notice specifically stated that the construction work would take place until 5:00 pm. We later learned from a member of staff that these were not unrelated works nearby, but part of the hotel’s own expansion.
Our room was located directly next to the construction area.
The real problem, however, was not simply that construction work was taking place. It was the way the situation was handled by the hotel and its management.
Despite the notice stating that works would finish at 5:00 pm, the noise continued throughout the evening. We contacted reception several times and were repeatedly asked to be patient and given different assurances about when it would stop. Eventually, the manager’s response was essentially that we should wait until midnight for the work to finish.
At approximately 11:45 pm, after hours of complaints, we were finally offered the possibility of changing rooms. By then, all our luggage was unpacked and we were already trying to sleep. Offering guests a room change at 11:45 pm after asking them to tolerate construction noise for hours is hardly a reasonable solution.
The construction noise, including hammering, finally continued until approximately 12:20 am — more than seven hours beyond the 5:00 pm finishing time communicated by the hotel itself.
The following morning, at check-out, reception offered us a 50% refund (€70). We declined it. At that point, money was not the issue.

Service was great, room was very spacious (unexpectedly received a free room upgrade). Staff were super friendly. Location is right near the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic so it is super convenient for sightseeing.

The property was close to everything.
No hot water at 8pm, then waited 2 hours for maintenance to fix the water. We booked and confirmed 2 single beds. We got a large double bed and a lounge made into a bed. We asked to change rooms due to no hot water and bedding however we were told they were full. The following morning another female traveller advised she requested to move rooms due to noise and she was moved to another room. They then tried to charge for a service that they offered free at the time of checkin.

La ubicación del hotel es formidable, muy céntrico pero sin ruido. Cerca del templo del Diente del Dragón y de tiendas y restaurantes. La habitación y el baño muy bien. El desayuno fantástico.
Nos dejaron en la habitación unas pastas de bienvenida y cuando llegamos estaban llenas de pequeñas hormiguitas.
