Lovely home stay!
Pros:

Pat was an amazing host and an extraordinarily interesting person along with it. Highly recommend the property and looking forward to returning one day again soon.

OK in the end.
Pros:

The bed was comfortable, the breakfast pleasant and the location good for work and restaurants.

Cons:

I didn't notice on the confirmation that I was being sent to another location, assuming that ,being as the only reference to the accommodation on booking. com is in Petts Wood, that that would be where I was staying. So I went there and was directed instead to another address which is not mentioned on booking.com and which was on a housing estate with no nearby facilities and not near where I was working the next day!
When I told the landlady that I didn't want to stay there, I was told that 'these are people too'. I felt upset about this as I felt I was being judged by her for not wanting to stay there.
Anyway, we went back to Petts Wood, where I paid more to stay. This was where I wanted to stay in the first place, having seen the property on booking.com

All I'm saying is that if you book to stay here, check carefully to see which place you're actually going to be staying in.

Good value for money, but location not great.
Pros:

The interior was welcoming, cosy and very nicely presented. Room was clean and comfortable, attractive furnishings and felt safe. Bathroom also very clean and well provided. The host, Patricia was helpful and friendly.

Cons:

Location was quite tricky to find. Not at all attractive, rubbish in full view. Quite off-putting at first sight.

It’s a lovely room to stay in…..
Pros:

Overall it was a lovely stay, we liked that there was a fridge and other kitchen appliances in the room.

Cons:

I’m quite a nervous person so I wasn’t too pleased when I heard lots of banging due to works being done…. It would have been nice to have some warning about this.

Cons:

I requested this room very late and due to this there was some hostility towards the messages that were being sent to my phone. Prior to this I did not get to see view the outside or the inside of the building as I was dropped off at the wrong location. I have not got much to say other than it was an experience that I will never encounter again
