Adorable, comfortable, clean cottages, in a beautiful setting under a canopy of trees.
Everything you could want is provided both inside and outside (wood for fire pit, grills, tables & seating). Good location.
This wasn't really a problem for me, but a larger person will have difficulty in the shower which is 3x3. The bathroom is small with a tight squeeze between the sheet & sink to get to the toilet.
All rooms may not be the same, so discuss this when you book.
Kitchen was nice and bed was very comfortable. Very close to Acadia park entrance.
Further from town.
Super clean! Comfy beds. Ac works! Blackout curtains. The owners are very considerate so everything you need for the kitchen is included -even a coffee machine with K cups and to- go cups. Location was peaceful and straightforward. Other guests respected quiet hours. Contactless check-in a plus and facilities were pet friendly. I enjoyed my stay and would def return and stay there again. No frills but it felt like home. Very close to Bar Harbor, and Acadia National Park.
I wasn’t sure where to put our garbage that wasn’t recyclable. The room didn’t smell because of the garbage but I wish those instructions would be added because it would’ve been nice to take it out daily. Unsure about placing it in a specific outside location such as the dumpster but I also didn’t ask the staff that was there in the morning so no fault to the property managers or staff. They do have room service to clean the room that can be arranged if you need it.
Nicely decorated, comfy bed, loved the outdoors barbecue area, very convenient to Acadia
Wish there was a screen door
Nice renovated room (but bed was too soft). Nice grounds and fire pit area.
Cabin 1 is next to the road. Sounded like a super highway inside the room. Noisiest place I’ve ever stayed. We booked a deluxe studio so maybe try to book under another category so you don’t get this cabin. ALL other cabins are set back and do not face the road.
Rooms were great.
Beds weren’t comfortable
The room we stayed in was practically brand new. Everything was recently renovated (from what it seemed like) very clean and this place exceeded our expectations. We did not have a room with a kitchen but they still supplied a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig machine and some cups and creamer. I am not one to write reviews but we were pleasantly surprised. A very convenient location as well as the town is less than 10 minutes away and almost all trails we hiked were under 25 min away. Overall if we come back to bar harbor we will be staying here again without a doubt.
Loved the location. Accommodations were very nice.
Rooms were a bit stuffy especially in the heat, really would have been better with a fna in the room even for circulation.
The location outside of busy Bar Harbor was great! The decor was modern but made good use of some vintage art! We loved our stay here!
There wasn’t anything that we disliked!
clean,cozy, comfy
Beautiful space and well kept. Perfectly close to everywhere we wanted to go. Very cozy!
Nothing everything was exactly as we expected.
I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and quality of the room. Location is great, easy to get to ANP and downtown bar Harbour.
I had some trouble with the shower / getting hot water.
Very cute and cozy, they took good care of us withe fire wood and starters!! Would definitely stay agian! Also pets friendly p.s walk your dog down the road besides the cottages and check out that view!!!! The toiletries were very good!!
The man also who took care of the check in was very helpful.and very prompt!!Make sure when you visit you to to the Acadia national park, breath taking views!!
Thanks for a good stay!!
Karens!
1. Keurig coffee machine; 2. Plug-in night light in bathroom; 3. Fold-out sofa bed (in deluxe queen studio) - we used it, very much appreciated; 4. Coat rack with hooks by the entrance; 5. European-type air conditioning for cooling and warming that functioned very well; 6. Lamps that turn on and off with just a touch (3 levels of brightness) on bedside stands.
Fridge was quite a bit on a small size (however, this fits well with the concept of overall minimalism for this row of small units motel :) ). Also, we thought that a hook/hooks row on the inside bathroom door would be of great value if added. We didn't use the stove top and public sitting area with a grill, so couldn't tell how well they function here.
Convenient location as jumping off point to various places around MDI.
Dog friendly.
The Cottages were adorable. The property was well landscaped and included outdoor firepit and gathering spaces. The room was lovely - wallpapered accent wall behind the bed was attractive. The bed was amazing! My daughter slept on the pull out couch and said it was very comfortable. We would definitely book this property again!
We had no issues with the property. We regret that our arrival time prevented our gathering outside to enjoy the scenery. We were on a quick trip to move down the Maine coast in 3 days.
