Friendly staffs- amazing stay
Pros:

This boutique hotel by Hilton is such a gem!! Away from Union square and the Tenderloin- in front of Yerba Buena park (if you get a room on a higher floor- views are amazing and you see the iconic love-it-or-hate-it Salesforce Tower).

There’s an amazing chai house nearby (elaichi house) and coffee (golden Goat ) a short walk away. Located on 4th st and Perfect if you need to walk to Caltrain or , if you’re like me, have to head into office near the Caltrain area.

Staffs were amazing (thank you Vivian at the front desk for all your help with my reservation and extension!) - rooftop restaurant and even the bar at the hotel lobby are perfect places for work / dining / breakfast / chill hangouts or dates nights!
Grab the yummy prosciutto pickled pear dish at Shelby’s if you’re up there in the evening !

Very comfortable and quiet, if not delux
Pros:

The location is convenient for using public transit to go north or south and to connect with other lines, as the Muni T train is about 50 feet from the hotel's front door. The bed was very comfortable, the shower roomy and very clean. I liked that it had a built in bench and that the towel rack was inside the shower enclosure making it possible to dry off while still warm inside. Cosy robes were provided. The staff was curteous and helpful. There was a problem with a fixture in my room and it was taken care of promptly. The lights for the closet/ storage alcoves came on when you passed them- this was nice for night trips to the bathroom. The toilet enclosure was separate from the shower. There were lots of choices for lighting the room vanity and entry and there was a lighted vanity mirror. I liked the motorized blackout shade. There was a small refridgerator. Overall it was a very comfortable room. I will stay there again.

Cons:

The furnishings were a bit spartan but that seems to be the trend these days. Lots of laminate flooring, cheap looking work table and the room, though well laid out, was on the small side. There was a small refridgerator, but there wasn't a way to re-heat food. Parking is pricey and is valet only. The room seemed to heat unevenly so I found myself increasing the temperature by several degrees over what is normally comfortable for me. This worked fine.

Location for Moscone great, good service for food, but hospitality could be better
Pros:

Great location when there’s an event in Moscone West, South, East. Decent gym, great restaurant upstairs and great wiaters and chef for breakfast.

Cons:

Greeting at the door not super welcoming, people don’t hold doors anymore or look back if there’s someone coming?

Nice amenities but tiny and not worth the nightly price, don’t get scammed into the landmark view.
Pros:

What worked: Very comfortable beds and pillows; good use of limited space, the vanity area with the stool was a nice touch. The smeg fridge is cute but tiny.

Cons:

I feel catfished as the online photos are not an accurate representation of the room. I paid extra for a landmark view thinking I would have a room higher up with a view of the bridge or coit tower- instead we were in the 3rd floor directly outside of the elevator and our landmark view was of the building across the street. The beds look tiny and are practically platform beds they are so low to the ground. The room itself is a narrow hallway that leads to the bed with barely enough room to walk around it. Customer service was almost non existent at check in. We had to stand at the counter almost 5 minutes while waiting for the two associates to finish their personal conversation about TV shows while standing in front of us without acknowledgment. We didn’t even get so much as a hello afterwards, the check in process had the warmth of a traffic stop: License, credit card, you’re on the 3rd floor. They were more responsive by text luckily, but I expected more for $270 a night.

Cons:

The coffee shop was closed 2 of the 3 days we were there because they couldn't find staffing. This was not the hotel staff's fault but made more work for them and an inconvenience for guests.
