Alles sehr idyllisch, Keysafe hat gut geklappt, Zimmer sauber.

Cons:

Frühstück leider unter den Erwartungen. Keine Kennzeichnung z.B. beim Joghurt. Wenig Auswahl außerhalb von Brötchen und Wurst. Z.B Müsli, Obst Quark Oatmel, Rührei, usw. Daher Frühstück nur ok.

Ich werde nicht mehr wieder kommen
Pros:

Sehr leckeres Frühstück und Abendessen

Cons:

Der Bartlehof wirkt auf mich weniger wie ein Hotel, sondern eher wie eine Pension. An zwei Tagen pro Woche ist das Haus vollständig geschlossen (bis auf das Frühstück), und außerhalb dieser Zeit ist niemand erreichbar. An den übrigen Tagen öffnet es erst ab 15 Uhr. Dennoch ist es schwierig, einen Ansprechpartner an der Rezeption anzutreffen. Auch Aufenthaltsbereiche, in denen man sich außerhalb des Zimmers aufhalten könnte, sind nicht vorhanden.

Der Inhaber bzw. die Person, die mich bei meiner Ankunft empfangen hat, hat sich nicht vorgestellt. Die Kommunikation empfand ich als schwierig und wenig zugewandt. Eine freundliche Begrüßung oder ein herzliches Willkommen habe ich vermisst, sodass ich mich von Beginn an nicht wirklich als Gast willkommen gefühlt habe.

Besonders enttäuschend war für mich das Thema Ruhe. Der Bartlehof wirbt mit Ruhe und Erholung – während meines Aufenthalts war davon jedoch wenig zu spüren. Stattdessen waren regelmäßig bellende Hunde und lautstark muhende Kühe zu hören. Auch die nahegelegene Landstraße sowie die direkt am Hotel vorbeiführende Straße sind deutlich wahrnehmbar, zudem verkehren Traktoren durch das Dorf.

Direkt vor meinem Balkon standen zudem wiederholt Camping- und Wohnwagen, wodurch eher der Eindruck eines Campingplatzes als eines ruhigen Hotels entstand. Hinzu kamen spielende und lautstarke Kinder, was die Gesamtruhe zusätzlich beeinträchtigte.

Insgesamt stehen Preis und Leistung für mich jedoch in keinem angemessenen Verhältnis. Angesichts des Preises hätte ich deutlich mehr Komfort, Ruhe und Gastfreundschaft erwartet.

Der Aufenthalt entsprach daher insgesamt nicht den Erwartungen, die durch die Beschreibung und die beworbene Ruhe geweckt wurden. Ich würde den Bartlehof nicht erneut besuchen.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel abseits von Touristenströmen in ruhiger und abwechslungsreicher Natur.
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels entsprach einem Landhotel. Vom Ort Schluchsee war es allerdings 6 km entfernt. Das Frühstück war umfangreich und wir konnten es in einer angenehmen Umgebung genießen.

Cons:

Leider waren wir bei unseren Ausflugstouren oft auf das Auto angewiesen, da dieser Ort nur 2 x am Tag mit Bus angefahren wird.
