Everything we needed was available and an easy walk to things we wanted to see. We just wished we could have stayed longer.
We had a room with no view but we weren’t in it that much and there’s a terrace on the 8th floor which was nice and we met a nice couple.
Good location
Room is small
Location
Little pricey
This hotel is centrally located, which is a priority for me when traveling, especially for leisure. I don't tend to spend much time in the room unless I am showering or sleeping, so the fact that the room was crammed did not matter that much. We got a harbor view, but that seemed a little silly now that I know the window was super tiny and you could only 'enjoy' the view while standing right in front of it. The hotel and the room were very clean and comfortable, despite the lack of space. I appreciated having a parking spot in a close-by garage. We've stayed in hotels before that were valet only at a much higher price (expensive and a hassle). Front doors of the hotel remain locked at all times, so if safety is a concern, you would feel better knowing that. The rooftop open-air area is a bit small as well and is not as open as you would imagine, more of a wrap around set-up, but it was better than nothing. I was weirdly fixated on the poor quality of the toilet paper, but there's a Target right across the street, so you can purchase your own if you must have the best for your bum lol I had no idea it mattered this much to me, but I guess it did.
From start to finish we found the location and hotel to be excellent, snd the staff friendly, knowledgable, and helpful.
It’s blocks away from Pike market, across the street from Target, and located within easy access to downtown/the light rail. Friendly staff and small but cozy rooms. If we’re ever back in Seattle, we’d stay here again.
Omg the perfect hotel. We stayed here the night before our alaskan cruise. It literally right next to the Pikes market. Like 1 min walk.
Shout out to Noah, nadir and dove at the front desk. They helped us so much. Great tips for things nearby and helpful with our luggage as well.
They have a shuttle guy the contact and get you all set up for your ride to the cruise terminal. 15 each to get there.
Thanks so much state hotel for having us enjoy our seatle stay. You guys made it great.
We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. Whilst the rooms are somewhat compact they are comfortable, clean and well equipped. The view we had over the local farmers market was fun to watch such hive of activity, day and night!
Staff are all helpful and friendly.
We incurred a nightmare of an improper and unauthorised charge on our credit card. It was agreed on check-in that $100/nights would be kept pending on our credit card as a deposit and for incidents. On checking we incurred 3x$300 1x$500 and 1x$600. Noah on the front desk informed us that their new computer system was failing and improper unauthorised payments were occasionally being applied. He corrected this, gave a small credit to spend in the hotel and took off the daily charge for getting free coffee etc (which finally shouldn’t be charged for anyway if it’s complementary)!
The adjoining restaurant has a good vibe, great service and excellent staff.
The improper and unauthorised charges did not detract from an enjoyable stay in Seattle or this hotel.
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with a surprise staycation in Seattle, and from the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. Sometimes you don't have to travel far to create beautiful memories, and this stay was the perfect reminder of that.
The hotel was exceptional—the location was ideal, the restaurant was fantastic, and every member of the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed. A special thank you to Dove and Gerardo, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They had our room ready with thoughtful treats upon arrival and were always available with a smile, making us feel cared for throughout our visit.
The rooftop offered breathtaking views of the city and added a touch of magic to our celebration. Although the space was a bit small and busy at times, the beauty of the view and the overall experience more than made up for it.
As Seattle locals from the Eastside, we often forget what a special city we have in our backyard. This stay allowed us to slow down, reconnect, and celebrate our marriage in a beautiful setting without ever leaving home.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to visitors and locals alike. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a peaceful escape, this is a place where memories are made.
Thank you for helping make our anniversary so special. We look forward to returning again soon.
Fantastic location, just around the corner from the Pike Place Market. Loved the design of the hotel, especially the beautiful and at the same time very traveler-practical room. Super comfortable bed, very quiet, even when facing the street, wonderful bathroom & shower. Lovely rooftop bar from 4 - 8pm, and the gorgeous wallpaper deserves a special shout-out as well.
The glass doors that need to be manually opened / held open are very difficult to navigate with a cart full of bags. It would be nice to have a small fridge in the room. The menu options at the Ben Paris restaurant are very limited and niche, would be nice to have some more mainstream / classic options.
I decided to take a solo trip to Seattle for my birthday and Bridgett made my first time in Seattle very special. My room was so clean and cozy. This hotel is steps away from pike place and many restaurants. I didn’t have any complaints about noise at all. I didn’t get a chance to check out the bar on the rooftop but I definitely would come back to this location.
Great location to Pike Place, room was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and informative.
Entrance door was locked and we had to call the front desk to let us in.
Front desk and room service staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms and common areas were clean and we'll maintained. A small fridge in the room would have been very helpful and appreciated.
Clean, quiet in general, great location, the patio and it’s great views
The day shift desk staff was very nice and helpful.
