Sunrise Aparthotel Rhodes

Das Bett war nicht sehr bequem.

The apartment itself had dirty handprints and cracks on the walls in the bedroom, the bathroom shower had blue markings probably from water damage, and the toilet flush came off almost every time you pressed it . The apartment has two AC units which didn’t work at first, later on i contacted the receptionist, who did fix it, but only then told us what needed to be done in order for them to work (information that they didn’t tell us upon arrival). One night we even saw four MASSIVE cockroaches bursting out of the AC unit. We then had to sleep on the couch in the living room, we also called the hotel, but they didn’t pick up, because their reception only works until 9 pm, then you’re on your own. We even had to kill one of them since it climbed underneath the closed door of the room and ran into the bathroom. All they had to say was that the whole island has problems with roaches. I have to say, i paid a lot of money for this stay and it was not worth it. The location is very convenient, other than it being over a club/ bar covered street that doesn't stop playing music until six in the morning and doesn't let you sleep, the beaches around it are okay, but they have an infestation, the lift didn't work for half of our stay, no-one cleaned our room or changed our towels or even took out the trash. The view from our balcony was of an abandoned building, which clashes with the name "luxury" hotel.

Access to the balcony is a bit awkward; the air conditioner hose drips right onto the balcony, creating a slipping hazard.

We had two brick windows but no curtains to cover the lights at night
The linen and towels were threadbare.
The noise from a night club down the road was so loud until 2am.
there should be no smoking at reception as the smoke drifts into the roooms

Szükség lenne apartmanonként egy seprűre, lapátra és mindenképpen egy ruhaszárítóra!! Értem, h lehet kérni takarítást..de kényelmesebb lenne .

Sajnos egy tizenéves társaság a teljes tartózkodásunk során a hajnali órákig (kb 3ig) nagyon hangos volt, de ez nem a szállásadó hibája....

You are next to a lively bar/club scene so expect it to be noisy into the early hours. Unfortunately others in the aparthotel continued to party in the stairwell and their room. Not good!

Really disappointed with this stay, especially for the price we paid. The room we got didn't match the photos on Booking at all. The listing showed a platform with a bed and a separate seating area, but we just had a bed crammed in with a table and chairs.
Privacy was a big issue. Our room was on the ground floor with the balcony opening right onto the street, and there was an ATM machine right next to it, plus two cameras pointed straight at our balcony. One night someone actually knocked on our balcony door around midnight. When we opened it, two men said they'd dropped something on there. Having strangers knocking on your balcony in the middle of the night is genuinely unsettling. Noise was another problem. There was a gap of about 5-10cm under our door, so we heard everything happening in the hallway like the door wasn't even there. A few groups of guests came back from partying late and were extremely loud, and since there's no night shift staff, nobody was around to say anything. It felt like a free-for-all.
On top of that, we found cockroaches in the room during our stay, and not small ones. Housekeeping was also lacking: over our 6 night stay, our towels were changed once and the trash was emptied once.
Honestly, for what we paid (close to 200€/night for two people, 5 nights in total), it was not worth it. This place is maybe worth 60€ a night, not what we were charged. We wouldn't stay here again.
