The restaurant is closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

A charming hotel in the romantic old town of Gengenbach.
Pros:

The hotel is located in the very center of the Old Town. We got a better room than we had chosen. Very comfortable beds, a clean and functional bathroom. The hotel restaurant offers a good buffet breakfast with a reserved table. We met a large, old cat in the hotel section who seemed at home. You can park directly in front of the hotel on the street, paying for the city parking meter, which we did.

Fantastic place to stay to visit Black Forest district.
Pros:

We spent 5 wonderful nights staying at this property. It is clean, spacious and absolutely comfortable.
It’s a short walk to train station to commute to various towns.

Cons:

Wish they top up the teabags daily? Can they change the dispenser for multi purpose cleansing gel. Not very user friendly.

Loved it. We would stay here again!
Pros:

Location was great. Nice big room. Elevator close to parking. Had a friendly cat that rode the elevator with us. Breakfast was good and easy. Restaurant was first rate. People were very friendly. Parking was good for us this time of year, which was mid April.
