Did not have breakfast at hotel but lovely options are available right next to hotel.
sometimes the Ubers found it difficult to find the location and were unable to pick up

The central location was amazing. Staff were accommodating and helpful.
The location is absolutely PERFECT! The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean (bathroom as well).
The decoration & architecture of the hotel is very beautiful, it feels like a little oasis in the center of a busy city like Lisbon.
The service at the pool bar was not the best, the pool staff were noisy, not professional enough for a 5 star hotel and they took ages to come see if we needed water or something to drink, I had to go see them at the bar and ask them for a menu twice in two days after being at the pool in front of them for at least 1 hour and 40 minutes. If not, the rest was just perfect :)

The staff are exceptional, we were treated extremely well and nothing was a problem. Many of the staff made small but meaningful relationships with my children that just were the cherry on top
There was nothing I didn’t like. The hotel isn’t cheap, but, it’s 5* service and facilities. If you don’t want or need this I’m sure there are good options - I only say this so readers know we acknowledge the cost but believe it is more than worth it based on our values

Only downside was the sink in the bathroom was very slow to drain so the sink filled up quickly

Location and quality of rooms and staff

Gorgeous hotel with a beautiful courtyard garden . We included breakfast in our stay and it was marvelous as you are able to choose from menu anything you desire made to order. Upon arrival at breakfast you are greeted with a divine assortment of bread basket. Our junior suite on the 4th floor was ample as well as the bathroom.
This is a beautiful hotel in a renovated palace. The hotel (public spaces and the rooms) is super clean, beautifully decorated, and truly lovely. The room we stayed in was also a great size (it was a king deluxe, I think). We also spent a few hours relaxing at the pool with a cocktail after a day of touring around, and it was so nice! The location is also walkable to almost everything we wanted to do and see as tourists, so it was super convenient, as well as beautiful. We also ate two nights at the wine bar, sitting at their outdoor patio, and it was delicious and so relaxing. The hotel staff, from reception to pool staff to the wine bar, were also very friendly and very helpful with whatever we needed. We truly had a wonderful stay!
Das Frühstück wurde a la carte serviert und war wirklich gut. Das liebevoll restaurierte alte Gebäude versprüht Eleganz und Seriosität; die angeschlossene Galerie unterstreicht das Ambiente des Hauses auf gelungene Art und Weise.
Am letzten Tag (Sonntag) war der Chef vermutlich außer Haus - da hat's beim Frühstücksservice etwas gehapert, und der hauseigene Falkner war auch nicht anwesend, so dass die frechen Tauben recht aufdringlich teilhaben wollten. Wenn der Falkner nicht da ist, dann also lieber drinnen essen und dort nebenbei die Kronleuchter, die Stuckdecke und die großen Spiegel bewundern.
