The Resident Covent Garden

The Resident is the perfect location to vacation in London! Walking distance to so many iconic sights and to the West End theater district. The staff was top-notch and could not be friendlier or more helpful. Thank you to Graeme, Mainul, and Seema are excellent and will help with any request! They made our stay delightful. The hotel is spotless, the rooms very comfortable, with great AC, and terrific water pressure in the shower. Coffee shops and restaurants are a 1 to 5 minute walk. We will be back!

We stayed at the Resident Covent Garden on our first visit to London as part of our Honeymoon. Everything was exceptionally easy-going and well taken care of. They accommodated us and even provided a honeymoon gift to the room. The location is excellent with tube stops and restaurants all in easy walking distance. Thank you for helping make our trip perfect!

The hotel was overall very good, and we especially loved the location. It was very close to public transportation, making it easy to use both buses and the metro. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.
Our room was quiet and clean, which we really appreciated. The bathroom was excellent, with very good water pressure, although bathrobes were missing. The kitchen facilities were also great, especially the fridge and sink. However, it would have been helpful to have paper towels or a dish towel available for drying utensils after washing them. We also found the rubbish bin under the sink a bit impractical, as it had no plastic bag inside and was quite small.
A couple of additional touches would have made the room even better, such as having two luggage racks and a small bench beside the bed. We loved the beds, although they were slightly firmer than our personal preference. The air conditioner was a little noisy when running, but otherwise the room was very peaceful.
The only real downside was the lack of breakfast on site, though this is understandable considering the size of the hotel. We also enjoyed having a small balcony with an interior view.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay and did not regret choosing this hotel. We are thankful we stayed here instead of somewhere else.

This is genuinely the best hotel! We were going on our first trip to London and we spent a long time looking up hotels. The Resident, based on comfort, appearances, amenities, and location seemed the best but it was a bit out of our price range. However, we genuinely could not seem to like any others we looked at. I called the hotel and they said I could get a discount for signing up for their membership and that sealed the deal and we booked it.

The staff is extremely friendly and professional! The rooms are clean, nice, and more spacious than others. The view into the street is nice. A big factor for us: They have AC! Their restrooms are nice and they have an amazing shower. Everything was always cleaned and restocked. They have a mini fridge, a microwave, and a kettle with tea. It was super easy to stock up with snacks or bring in food of choice, since they don't have a restaurant.

You're in the heart of London, but it is nice and quiet. There are restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. You're in walking distance from the British Museum, Trafalgar Square, National Gallery, and so much more. There is a bus stop right in front, if you do need to take the bus anywhere.

Genuinely, a year later we still talk about this hotel and how much it added to making our first trip to Europe as wonderful as it was.

My Mom and I had a wonderful stay at The Resident Covent Garden! The location was absolutely perfect. Super close to many cafe's, restaurants and shopping. The staff were truly so kind and helpful. I chose this hotel for our stay because of all the wonderful reviews about the employees and they did not disappoint!! The hotel itself was very clean, comfortable and well maintained. I will definitely be staying here again in the future and highly recommend this lovely hotel to anyone visiting London!

What a perfect place to stay! The location is perfect to walk and explore London's historical sights. They have created a lovely and quiet space to rest. The rooms are spotless, comfortable, with good mattresses and an impressive shower. There was no noise in our room which we expected possible some as our room faced the road. There is a small kitchen with plates, cups, utensils, an espresso machine and an electric. We were in the Junior Suite which had many cupboards to store our luggage and shelves to put our items on. Every one of the hotel staff members were professional and friendly ! We will stay again!
