Thank you to the entire Caputo family for making our vacation so memorable!
Pros:

From the moment we walked in we were greeted with warmth and friendliness. This family run hotel made you feel welcomed, right from the start. Our balcony room had a spectacular view of the coastline beach. The cleanliness of our room surpassed our high expectations. The daily breakfast provided such an amazing array of fresh pastries and fruit and unique delicacies of the region. For U.S. travelers, this is nothing like a Hilton/Marriot continental breakfast, there is simply no comparison. Even more impressive was our fabulous meal at the Michelin star rooftop restaurant. The stunning spiral glass steps surrounding the elevator was an impressive architectural feature adding to the elegance of the hotel. We look forward to future stays here and highly recommend so for anyone thinking about staying here.

Great location, mediocre service
Pros:

Nice location, breakfast was good, additional service was attentive. The beach is very nice.

Cons:

We sometimes felt less important guests, the sunbeds in the first row are only available to certain guests, system is not transparent. The “suite” is one bedroom with two bathrooms, one of which is useless. Our feedback was not accepted by the owners. Only the rooms have airconditioning, the breakfast room was unbareably hot.

Una bella scoperta. Da ripetere sicuramente.
Pros:

Posizione ottima per chi vuole godere della bellezza del mare di Nerano. Disponibilità di lettini in spiaggia. Un buffet della colazione ben assortito con prodotti anche senza glutine. La camera fronte mare è stata la sorpresa più bella. Stupenda. Grazie a tutto lo staff per la bella accoglienza. Torneremo sicuramente.

Cons:

Piccole accortezze: all’arrivo, sarebbe ideale almeno una bottiglia d’acqua in camera (quella di cortesia).
Riguardo alla colazione, gli insaccati in boccette di vetro esteticamente non sono accattivanti. Le cambierei.

A delightful stay
Pros:

Taverna del Capitano is a true hidden gem on the Amalfi Coast, we loved staying in Nerano and experiencing a more quiet, local village. The hotel is run and owned by a very kind, hospitable family and the rooms are comfortable with beautiful tiles. We loved our sea view room! Breakfast is abundant and delicious, and the Michelin starred restaurant on the roof is not to be missed — Chef Alfonso Caputo prepared a wonderful vegetarian menu for us which was tasty and creative. I can't wait to return to the hotel and Nerano in the future!

A sottolineare il livello d'eccellenza  raggiunto dalla Cucina DEGNO DI MENZIONE che Tutti e 3 Chef hanno conquistato prima e mantenuto poi l'ambitissimo MACARON della Guida Michelin Italia ININTERROTTAMENTE e per 30 anni dal 1996 a 2026 [nella 52° Edizione del 2007 salgono a 2 Stelle mantenute per 6 edizioni fino al 2012]

NOTA ASSOLUTAMENTE POSITIVA che entrambi i Ristorante sono aperti "con doppio servizio" sia a pranzo [da 12.00 a 14.

Soul asylum by the beach.
Pros:

Very clean and everything worked. Good breakfast. Pleasant location, peaceful. By the sea. The staff extremely friendly and helpful. Felt like being in a family. Good english skills. Both the bistro and Michelin rates restaurant simply excellent.
