Excellent, everything we needed for a 3 night stay, superb location
Pros:

Lovely host. Comfy room, We stayed in the family room. Excellent parking facilties, lots of surrounding cafes and restaurants providing beakfast, Lunch Dinner all located near this property. Right next to the Caledonian canel leading to Lochness. Enjoyed a lovely boat trip from this location. Plenty of little gift shops. Very friendly village/ small town. Would definately stay here again.

Cons:

It was all good, just one thing! could do with a mirror inside the room next to a plug socket to dry hair etc. I'm sure this will get added by the wonderful host and is just an oversight at the moment.

La posizione ottima. La ragazza che ci ha accolto al check in è stata carina. La stanza era accogliente, il letto comodo. Per gli standard trovati in giro era pulita. La sera abbiamo mangiato al ristorante cinese sotto la stanza che appartiene agli stessi proprietari e ci siamo trovati bene!

Cons:

Il prezzo ci è sembrato un po’ alto per una sola notte. In più le scale per arrivare in camera erano davvero strette e ripide.

Pros:

As other reviewers have commented, this hotel is tired. The bathroom facilities are dated. However, it is clean, quiet and the staff are very friendly. It also has an excellent location in the centre of Fort Augustus. The price I paid for a double room on a bank holiday weekend I guess is as good as you can get.

Cons:

The parking is well hidden and not visible from the road - you need to turn down the side of the canal by The Bothy. I gave up looking and parked on a side road.

Not good value for money.
Pros:

The shower was inconsistent and kept changing from hot to cold, and back again. The room was passable but the decor in the main sections was old and not well maintained.
