Wir hatten leider kein Fenster im Zimmer.
I honestly didn't really look into the hotel when I booked it, but upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised. This hotel is on average cheaper than others in Amsterdam, so I expected something more like a better hostel, but it felt like a luxury hotel – a panoramic window in the room, split-system air conditioning, a spacious bathroom with a rain shower, a kettle for making tea (and even tea bags), and many other nice touches. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, and there's a terrace overlooking the canal. It's far from a tourist destination, but the location is good, as the hotel is right next to the metro and just one stop away from Sloterdijk – there's a train hub and a Flixbus stop. I arrived from Charleroi on the Flixbus, and it was important to me not to have to travel across the city late at night. Amsterdam's public transportation system is complex – it's a long metro ride to the center, but you can quickly get there by train from Sloterdijk to Central Station, or, of course, by bike. They also have rooms without windows, even cheaper than the one I booked. I thought the room would feel like a closet, but I peeked into one when it was slightly open and it looks pretty decent—a good budget option. I'll definitely stay with these guys if/when I come to Amsterdam.

Die Lautstärke. Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig. Das Hotel ist direkt an der Straße und an der Bahn. Die Wohngegend ist ein sozialer Brennpunkt, da es von den Leuten viele Muslime gibt
Der Anschluss an Bus und Bahn in die Innenstadt war super. Haltestelle direkt vor der Tür.
