The eco friendly approach was great. The hotel was a surprise as we did struggle to get the right place on route without too much of a detour to Hook of Holland. We wanted somewhere quiet and comfortable on the last leg of our journey to the UK. Despite being on the road, it was exceptionally quiet inside. The view from the front is woodland, I love the feel of greenery around me , so that was important. The beds were very comfortable. The room was light and spacious and we had a bath and a shower which were both great. The breakfast was very very good and they have free cold mineral water which is a big plus for being environmentally friendly, and makes you feel happy. There are lots of restaurants within 5 minutes drive and one next door. We also took a lunch box to have on the Ferry as the quality of food was soo good. They have an honesty bar with a good stock of wine, beer and snacks so you don't have to venture out if you're tired. And the reception staff were lovely 🌹. It was a great stay.

Als er veel bomen in de buurt zijn, is het meteen stiller en de lucht schoner. Na een dag werken is dat precies wat je nodig hebt om weer op te laden.

Perfecte en gezonde start voor een wandeling op de Heide.
Pros:

Geweldig goed gelegen hotel voor een tocht door de Kalmthoutse Heide of het mooie arboretum. Moderne kamers met zicht op groen (achter). Zeer comfortabele bedden. Het ontbijt was zeer verzorgd met aandacht voor gezonde producten.
Het personeel gaf ons een goede briefing en hielp duidelijk met het kiezen van een goede wandeling.

Cons:

We denken dat je vanop de parking in de kamers kan kijken. Even opletten dus.

Top verblijf aan de Heide
Pros:

De locatie als je wilt wandelen in de Heide is top. Personeel is steeds vriendelijk en uiterst behulpzaam. Ontbijt is echt super en de kamers zijn zeer comfortabel!
