The location is perfect and the place is very clean!
It's a shock how small the room is and lack of clothing area
Breakfast was delicious. Although the selection of ovo-lacto vegetarian options was limited, it was still very filling. Thank you! >o<

חדרים קטנים מאוד כמו ברוב טוקיו, אין כל כך הרבה מבחר בחדר אוכל למי שלא אוכל בשר בחו"ל, אבל אפשר להסתדר. הצוות במטבח כל הזמן רץ ממקום למקום לוודא שלא חסר כלום

The room is a bit small. It seems like there should of be a beer vending machine on the rooftop lounge.

Centralt beläget nära Uedo stationen. Lätt och snabbt ( 30 min )att ta sig från Heneda flygplats.
Receptionspersonalen enormt hjälpsamma och vänliga.
Svårt att få till svalt på rummet trots AC.
- the breakfast staff were very polite and attentive, especially noting they had to manage some truly awful behaviour from other foreign guests.
- the location is very convenient for lots of areas around Ueno and from the station and feels very safe without being on super noisy side of Ueno.
- the room was very soundproof and we never heard other guests or noises from the hallway.
After our first few nights in the room our main dissatisfaction was a musty smell and general feeling of uncleanliness due to the age of the facilities. We both developed an asthmatic cough and bad eye irritation. We then discovered the aircon we had been running was filled with mould which we had inadvertently been pushing into our room, which over several nights is a health issue of significance. I understand Tokyo has high humidity and the small rooms and bathrooms worsen this. But clearly there needs to be more work done to clean the air conditioners or improve the ventilation in the bathrooms. We let staff know, both housekeeping and front desk staff and showed them the photos and translated into Japanese the issue. This was met with what felt like a dismissive, thank you for letting us know, but no apology or effort to address the issue, which makes me think this is a fairly common issue and complaint. Also, there was a smoking guest on our floor who clearly denied or happily paid the fine for smoking in their room. What that meant for the rest of the guests was constant disgusting strong tobacco smell in the hallways. after a few days (even with room cleaning every) the bathroom starts having a horrible sewer smell from the drains, which is really unpleasant.
The 'deluxe rooms' are still very small, again it's Tokyo so it's expected, but the poor design including a tiny hallway next to the window to count for m2 is almost impossible to utilise.
The bed was uncomfortable, looked very old and was very stained. Breakfast was grim, not great
