Perfect location for the University.
Pros:

Location is perfect if you need to be near the University. We liked the free car park, the breakfast, on tap tea and coffee, the very friendly and accommodating staff. Overall a great stay and would stay again.

Cons:

The rooms are comfortable but basic but were perfectlly adequate for what we wanted.

Hinsley Hall highly recommended for a comfortable and quiet hotel - with Leeds easily accessible
Pros:

Hinsley hall is in the most beautiful and tranquil setting in the midst of vibrant Headingley.
As always immaculately clean, very comfortable and staff who are unfailingly helpful and welcoming.
A buffet
Breakfast is included in the room rate with a good choice of uncooked options including plenty of fruit and a hearty choice for a cooked breakfast. The coffee/beverage machine in the resident’s lounge is excellent and the kitchenettes dotted around the bedrooms are a great alternative to having a messy tray in the bedrooms

Cons:

Really nothing. Part of the charm of Hinsley hall is its back to basics option - plain but comfortable bedrooms with a small basic tv . A few more toiletries and some tissues would be a nice touch

Such a beautiful building and situation, so peaceful, with wonderful Catholic connections!
Pros:

It was a complete surprise to find ourselves in a property belonging to the Diocese of Leeds. As Catholics this definitely enhanced our stay and is a definite reason for returning! The breakfast was exceptional. We were able to attend Mass!

Cons:

It was difficult to obtain fresh air in our room. The window had a restricted opening which wasn't really necessary as there was no possible danger involved! Everything else was beyond our expectations

Poor experience but nice staff took the edge off.
Pros:

Lovely staff and clean but awful food. Not a lot more to say. It is what it is - a pastoral retreat from the last century.

Cons:

Pretty much everything apart from lovely staff and being clean. Shower didn’t work.
