Great breakfast , very clean
Basic but would definitely stay again
Cleanliness, helpful staff, free on site parking, nice breakfast. Also and very surprisingly, the coffee was excellent form the coffee machine. I am very fussy about my coffee and was impressed! Also i left my phone charger plug at home and they lent me one for 12 hours so that was greatly appreciated.
Couldnt open window so room was a bit too hot (but i think this is many hotels, not just this one). Also i could have asked reception for a fan but was so tired I didnt have the energy to go back downstairs to ask for one but supposedly they are available if you ask.
Extremely quiet, unique location. Beautiful grounds. Good breakfast in a gorgeous dining hall. Free hot drinks available in lounge.
Some people may want to know that the hotel is part of a Catholic retreat/conference centre, so you will see priests and nuns on the premises.
No air con but fans provided at reception if required. Room was quite hot and stuffy.

The rooms were VERY warm even on a cooler day, but the reception team did have fans so that really helped.
Great location, lovely staff, comfortable bed.
