Directly at the beach close to center.

Cons:

The staff is unprofessional and doesn’t know how to talk to customers.
The cleaning was unacceptable. Trash not emptied, dirty sponges left next to our toothbrushes, horrible smell in the sink not fixed but covered up by blocking the sink with water (i couldn’t believe it) wasn’t fixed in 3 days staying there. No towels in the room at arrival. Room 9 is horrific and unacceptable at foot level of the restaurant guests and directly exposed to all the noise. Restaurant is central in the hotel making the view useless since opening the blinds exposes you to the restaurant guests which look directly into your room.. Noise all day from staff at restaurant plus music.. The hotel staff themself doesn’t keep the quiet hours making noise until 11:30pm cleaning the kitchen and yelling, whistling and slamming gates… At 06:00AM moving tables and cleaning outside making noise..
The building itself is old so if somebody lives above you will hear every single thing.. In our case a heavily overweight person wich on top was up almost all night making us wait for the ceiling to come down.. When i asked them to be quiet they were shocked telling me they just normally walked from A to B.
I would never stay in this hotel again. Management incapable of directing staff and addressing issues if the receptionist ever passed them on!!

Everything. Staff is so helpful. Everyone is approachable and they really go the extra mile. Location is perfect. Atmosphere is comfortable.

Very enjoyable. We love the Hermosa beach area
Pros:

Love the location and facility itself. Having a louge area to watch sunsets, a restaurant and bar were nice and the included breakfast was an added bonus. room is amazing with all kinds of extras included

Cons:

Well vehicle parking is at a premium in the area so i understand the $46 fee. I don't know that we were aware of that but I was expecting something. Since we only stayed one night I'm not sure if that is a daily fee or one time fee. It is what it is.

Cons:

The breakfast was an absolute joke. Something you expect at a 1 star hotel. Yes it’s advertised as continental but that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be fresh and decent. The croissants were dry, the bagels were stale, there were limited supplies, the packaged cereals were awful, there was no spread or hot water for the instant oats, the coffee was weak. To add to the misery on one of the days we missed breakfast because the staff had not refilled / or set up breakfast

Pros:

Beautiful setting and comfortable beds. Surfer Girl had a great vibe and delicious food. It was a perfect location and we could walk/bike everywhere. The staff was very kind and helpful!

Cons:

Housekeeping wasn't very thorough and had to ask a few times for them to come. Beach amenities were scarce, but grateful for anything they could give us. Breakfast was just ok..no fresh fruit, and the coffee wasn't hot. However, the coffee in the room was great!

Run down rooms. Inconsistent room cleaning. My room wasn’t cleaned everyday and overall was just dirty and beat up for the price I was charged. Some staff friendly and professional, others not so much. Just all around not very consistent on a day by day basis.

Not Worth Your Buck, Save Yourself the $400/ Day by Going Somewhere Else
Pros:

The property was at a great location, very nice views. The restaurant was amazing , although the food was not. The rooms were not entirely updated but they were clean and comfortable.

Cons:

By far the worst customer service. I seen other reviews and brushed them off but 100% the worst customer service. Beware they try to scam you at check in with charging a resort fee when it is already included. Not to mention the $45/ day valet. Would never stay here again solely for the customer service.
