I have never left a review for a hotel before, but I just had to acknowledge the exceptional service that I received at the Ikon (thanks to Melitsa especially!! and her colleague Jennifer). When I was first considering booking the hotel, I was a little skeptical due to limited photos online, so I emailed them with a bunch of my questions and they responded so promptly and helpfully with every question/concern I had. They even remembered my flight time from my email and enabled us to check in early by 2 hours once our room was ready. The location in the city literally couldn't be better, and the room for two was spacious, very clean, and perfect. Our junior suite even had a private terrace where we were able to enjoy each morning's complimentary breakfast (that gets wheeled into your room at your pre-selected time -- so special and delicious). I loved all the little things they did to make our stay so smooth -- like the daily water bottles in the fridge, kitchen area, breakfast-to-go on the last day when we had a ferry to catch, and more. Overall this was such a great value, and I'd recommend this hotel to any of my friends who visit Athens in the future. Thank you again to Melitsa especially, plus her colleague Jennifer, and everyone else who helped us at the front desk each day -- you made our experience so excellent!

Loved the setup of this hotel for a family, which is often very difficult to find. This property was very well located and had friendly front desk staff who were very happy to provide assistance. Our initial room had a lot of road noise from people outside and cars. They did kindly allow us to relocate, but the new room was a downgrade in room category that we liked less, as it had less space and seemed more dinged up, although it was very quiet at night being on the other side of the building. Overall I think going for the middle category room is recommended to give more space for your suitcases and more counter and bathroom space. The breakfast is very nice and comes in a cart delivered to the room with a variety of items. They have delivery times that fill up— The inflexibility with time could be re-thought a little bit; however, we were able to get the time we preferred 2 out of 3 days. Overall it was a great home base in Athens and I’m glad we chose this property for our stay.

Location, friendly staff, the room

We had an awesome stay. The location is great—close to everything.

The rooms are big, modern, clean and comfortable, and we also had a full kitchen. It’s hard to find rooms this big and nice for a family in such a great spot.

Stella and the entire staff were very nice and helpful. They really went out of their way to help us and gave great recommendations.

Another convenience was that breakfast was served to our room every day.

We’d definitely stay here again!

Location is perfect, staff is very friendly and helpful. Suite fitted out very nice and clean. We will definitely come back again if coming to Athens.

The super friendly and helpful staff, the room - very clean, with modern amenities, and a large terrace. Great central location, walking distance to major attractions and public transportation.

Our breakfast was delivered to our room every morning at the time we requested. It was wonderful.
