Lovely lodge, friendly staff, exceptional food
Modern accommodation. Clean. Stylish. Good location
The above praise is cancelled out by one massive and inconsiderate inconvenience: there is no aircon.
The room was preposterously hot. The fan provided was next to useless.
The most important thing I want from a hotel - and a premium one at that - is a decent night's sleep.
The fact that I couldn't get that because the room was so stiflingly hot is not acceptable - particularly as these conditions will become more prevalent in the UK
For a relatively new hotel, I find it stunning that the designers wanted to boil their customers to death.
It could be a great hotel - and probably is during Autumn and Winter. But in the height of Summer, you just can't do that to your residents.
Clean spacoous room great balcony view. Ammazing toilet and shower with good pressure. Wonderful helpful staff. Restaurant was delicious
Nothing to not like
Location is picturesque
Polite staff , very helpful and the room was lovely
The space and the view
The fact that there is no sauna or jacuzzi
Lovely views, great staff from the ladies who greeted me to the gentleman from Zimbabwe on night duty who made me a lovely him and tonic!
Entering the hotel at 5pm it wasapprox 10C warmer than outside. Sleep was very difficult in a super heated bedroom although it had a fan. The window blinds did not block out light so I was woken st 5am! Therewasanedpresso machine but no coffee nor cups! No tv in room and no sir conditioning. More like a basic 3 star than a 4 star but at 5 star prices!
All staff were very helpful and friendly. The dark haired lady at the restaurant was so helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent - wide range of food to suit even the pickiest of eaters (me)!
Lodge was excellent - perfectly sized for our needs. Bathroom great. Thoughtfully designed to allow views over the course and wooded area. Bed a little hard for my preference.
Dog friendly room was great and the provision of a dog bed / towel and bowls was lovely. Able to take an early morning stroll across the course via the public footpaths which was lovely.
Tv in the room would be useful.
Room was beautiful, location and grounds were stunning and the staff were brilliant
No air conditioning made the room very hot
Great location so peaceful and quiet lovely attentive staff great breakfast
beautiful golf course immaculate
100% will come back again
Nothing to dislike
Excellent staff food in the restaurant was superb the location was great for visiting the cotswolds and everything was very clean.
Great breakfast
No air conditioning in the room
No fridge however staff supplied ice on request
Spacious, really nice location and good customer service.
The room we stayed in directly above the reception and outside patio area where we experienced noises when people sitting outside in the evening. However we informed the receptionist and they handle it well. As the weather was too hot it would be nice if the rooms have air conditioning. I think the upper management should consider to fit AC especially the rooms are facing direct sunlight and unbearable to be inside without aircon.
