Historisch liebevoll - bedingt komfortabel
Pros:

Kleines Hotel im historischen Helsingör, wenige Minuten vom Bahnhof entfernt und direkt im Zentrum. Die Mitarbeitenden waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Ausstattung hat Flair, mit Antiquitäten und passt ins Stadtbild.

Cons:

Das Haus ist liebevoll hergerichtet, sehr atmosphärisch, jedoch für eine ruhige erholsame Nacht nur bedingt geeignet. Es ist sehr hellhörig, man hört die Gespräche aus den Nachbarzimmern und auch sonst knarrt und pfeift es überall. Hübsch anzusehen aber für meinen Geschmack nicht sehr komfortabel. Gesamt fand ich den Preis überteuert.

Puben bredvid spelade till 03:30 OCH Gatorna städades sen 06:30……
Helt omöjligt att komma fram med bil p.g.a. gatuarbeten, vilket hotellet informerade om först på ankomstdagen OCH efter att de dragit pengarna.
Dessutom otrevligt bemötande på frukost där personalen indinuerade att vi inte bodde på hotellet!
Tokvarmt på rummet trors 20 grader ute.
Sunkigt badrum och avloppet i tvättstället var helt tätt.

Vi kommer tillbaka!
Pros:

Superbra frukost med yoghurt, danskt rågbröd, juice, ingefärshots, danska bakverk och frukt. Mycket gott kaffe. Mysig och sval innegård, och möjlighet till självbetjäning av dryck på kvällen för att sitta ute och njuta. Vi kunde lämna vårt bagage för att strosa på stan innan hemfärd.

Un accogliente hotel nel cuore di Helsingor.
Pros:

La posizione top, la location accogliente, la colazione ottima (apprezzato tantissimo la presenza della frutta fresca).

Cons:

Il bagno della camera troppo piccolo, scomoda la doccia e mancanza di qualcosa per appendere tre asciugamani bagnati.

Great location
Pros:

Great location near the harbour and train station. Walking distance to old town and all the sightseeing opportunities. Great selection at breakfast.

Cons:

The room was very warm. No air conditioning and too noisy to leave the windows open overnight. Construction work outside which woke us one morning.

Avoid this apartment if you expect basic cleanliness and comfort.

The lack of hot water was only one of the problems. The hotel explained that it was caused by an external issue, but the only solution offered was to leave the apartment and cross the street to another building to take a shower. This was especially inconvenient as I was travelling with my 83-year-old mother.

The apartment itself was the biggest disappointment. It was not properly cleaned before our arrival. We found dirty cups in the cupboards, the coffee machine was dirty, there was dust on top of the cupboards, and the duvet stored in the cupboard looked as though it had already been used. The bathroom had a strong unpleasant smell, mould around the pipes, no window for ventilation, and flooded the first time we used the shower because the water did not drain properly.

The apartment is at street level, dark and almost fully carpeted, which adds to the feeling of un-cleanliness, and there is no entrance mat to help keep the place clean.

What disappointed us most was that, after reporting all of these issues, the hotel only responded about the hot water and completely ignored the cleanliness and maintenance problems. They refused any refund or compensation.

For the price we paid, this apartment was simply not worth it. We would not stay here again and cannot recommend it.
