Pros:

Nothing because they cancelled the booking an hour before we arrived

Good value room and convenient for Hay.
Pros:

Large, clean family room with a double bed, sofa & desk in the main room and a bunk bed in the annexe. Tea, coffee & biscuits plus a large en-suite shower room & toilet. Large tv, plenty of sockets for charging. Car park in front & a convenient location for Hay. Our second year staying.

Cons:

Shampoo & shower gel were provided but room was missing some touches, like tissues or bathroom spray. The cooked breakfast wasn't great, so I kept to toast after the first day. Service was very accommodating though, and appreciated the tea/coffee. Dated hotel but clean and welcoming.

A great hotel in a great location for exploring the Brecon Beacons in Wales.
Pros:

A perfect location in the heart of Talgarth. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. We had bikes with us and they were safely secured over night. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and there was a great range of cereal, yoghurt and toast.

Nice small hotel with comfortable room and friendly staff. Would definitely return.
Pros:

Comfy and spacious room, with a table and chairs and a separate hallway with a little workstation area. Very helpful and friendly owners. The breakfast was everything you'd expect from a hotel breakfast..

Note that the hotel doesn't offer evening meals. Talgarth doesn't have a lot of places to eat out, especially on weekdays, but if you get a takeaway the hotel owners are happy to let you eat it in the breakfast room.
