Pros:

Wonderfully friendly hostess. The room was lovely and spacious, very comfortable bed and I had a great night's sleep which was really important to me.
Breakfast was delicious and very fresh. I'd definitely stay again if in the area. Talgarth is a very pretty village too.

Short stay
Pros:

This hotel was the best.. the host couldn'd do enough for you.. the breakfast was great, plenty of choice.. the room was grand and had everything we could have wanted.. will definitely stãy here again

Pros:

Good cooked breakfast.

Cons:

Only comment is that some fresh fruit for breakfast would be even better - eg. bananas or apples or something from the freezer.

Hartelijke ontvangst. Fijne ruime kamer met tafel en 2 stoelen en een bureau!
Goed bed. Prima douche met goede afsluitende deur.
Ontbijt vers klaargemaakt. Ik zocht naturel yoghurt en de volgende dag was dat speciaal ingekocht!
Parkeerplaats op eigen terrein.

They never let us in! Cancelled at very short notice. No reason given and no apology

Good value room and convenient for Hay.
Pros:

Large, clean family room with a double bed, sofa & desk in the main room and a bunk bed in the annexe. Tea, coffee & biscuits plus a large en-suite shower room & toilet. Large tv, plenty of sockets for charging. Car park in front & a convenient location for Hay. Our second year staying.

Cons:

Shampoo & shower gel were provided but room was missing some touches, like tissues or bathroom spray. The cooked breakfast wasn't great, so I kept to toast after the first day. Service was very accommodating though, and appreciated the tea/coffee. Dated hotel but clean and welcoming.
