Pros:

Beautiful property, and the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. We enjoyed birding from the lookout over the lake, and having dinner in the attached restaurant was very nice.

Este hotel está situado num lugar que, embora sendo central, não fica na estrada principal da aldeia, que tem muito trânsito e por isso é bastante barulhenta em certos momentos. O ar condicionado funciona muito bem no quarto, coisa que é fundamental, porque se trata de uma região muito, muito quente e húmida.

Cons:

Por amabilidade da gerência, como havia poucos hóspedes e eu ficaria três noites, fiquei alojado numa das suites (eu tinha pagado um quarto normal). A suite, além de um quarto e duma casa de banho, tem uma sala-cozinha muito espaçosa e com televisão, mas que não tem ar condicionado, pelo que não a pude usar.

Quiet and easy going atmosphere…
Pros:

Breakfast was good. The entire facility was cleaned very well, the view to the lake was good, and the staff were very friendly. It has gate secure parking for both cars and motorcycles. Good access to Tikal ruins.

Cons:

Everything was good, for a countryside setting.

Ok but need some improvements
Pros:

The hotel has a nice garden and lake view. There is no lake access though. But it easy to cross next door to go to the lake. The girls who work in the restaurant are really nice.

Cons:

They need to put more outlets in the room or at least an extention cable. And they definitely need to approve the WiFi. It is nice in the restaurant but half of the time it didn't reach my room.
I do not like that there was a 5min shower rule of having hot water

Pros:

the motel is by the lake with a platform for a good view. it provides free parking and very decent wifi. my wife likes the fish in the restaurant very much.

Cons:

we wish we knew that it is so close to Tikal that we could have saved a lot of money by staying here instead of throwing money away staying inside the park.
