Nice place but felt like two separate locations
Pros:

The restaurant was nice

Cons:

Main hotel was separate to the dining room, we didn’t realise that the hotel was a short walk from the main restaurant and reception

And comfy bed

Cons:

We own a couple of businesses and very rarely get a night away or a long lie.
So a night away is heaven or should have been ... except... our room was on ground floor and right outside staff carpark.
We were rudely awoken at around 6.30 with a staff member parking his loud car...!!! White fiesta !.... over revving his car whilst reversing!!!
Have some respect to customers 😡😡

A decent place to stay with very helpful staff
Pros:

Clean room, very helpful staff and comfy beds!

Cons:

Unfortunately, the sink in the bathroom was blocked and was unable to drain so we had to wash hands, brush teeth etc.. in the bath. Staff tried very hard to help and gave us free breakfast as a result.

Night away.. disappointed
Pros:

Staff were very kind and helpful

Cons:

Well the room wasnt good firstly the bedding needed changed as we found hairs on bed and under duvet. Plus toilet floor was very fragile had a gash on floor.

Decent room
Pros:

Location, room was comfortable, restaurant on site

Cons:

Checking in at the pub when there is a desk that could be used at the accommodation block.
No on-site parking but an open public car park opposite the accommodation.
The food in the restaurant was pretty poor but this was dealt with by staff before we left.

i stayed here last year and returned because it was good but this year it has gone down hill.
Pros:

the location and parking was good, check in on line was easy.

Cons:

the room was only cleaned once, the food was poor and service was very slow, it felt like the food had been ready a long time and kept under a hot light to dry it up before being served, nobody enquired if the food was ok all in all disapointing.
