Great location, good budget accommodation, lovely pub/restaurant and other food options next door.
Pros:

The location was great, close to Androssan ferry terminal to Arran, less than 30mins drive to Ayr, there is a pub, cafe and restaurants nearby and plenty of spaces for parking.

Cons:

No lift and the curtains were dirty

The position suited us but we wouldn't recommend to anyone or go there again.
Pros:

The staff were very polite and helpful.

Cons:

The whole dining and breakfast area needs a good spring clean. All the table tops, including the covering on the breakfast food table were sticky and unpleasant. The walls were dirty. The beds were not as comfortable as we expected compared with similar hotels, eg premier inn.

Pros:

The rooms, food, location were all good.

Cons:

In terms of people with mobility issues the layour was terrible. The position of blue badge parking spaces in relation to access to building were very poor, and thd distance from the bedroom block yo the restaurant meant I had to use my car. The blue badge space spaces at the restaurant were quite far away from the only access to the building.

Pros:

Great location near the leisure centre.

Cons:

The split location could do to be flagged beforehand as I lugged luggage to the pub. Also to flag there’s no lift, we are fit but others might not be. Expensive for a basic hotel.
