A relaxed little oasis.
Pros:

The staff were amazing and so helpful, booking restaurants for us etc. The hotel itself is stunning. We felt so well looked after.

Cons:

The room we were in suffered a little with noise due to how the building is constructed.

The bed alone is worth another trip and the pool is kept open all the time which is great.

Hotel de diseño, desayuno de muy buena calidad.
Pros:

Me encantó el desayuno, de muy buena calidad y servido de forma impecable y elegante. Personal muy atento y agradable.

Cons:

El navegador te lleva a otro hotel que tiene la cadena y se vuelve loco, ojo a esto. A nosotros no nos influye porque dormimos divinamente 😜 pero hay mucha luz y ruido en la habitación.

Small, quiet, charming and modern hotel
Pros:

We spent 3 nights in this small, secluded, newly renovated hotel
The location is good, walking distance from the historic centre. It is quiet, interestingly decorated with a nice garden and outdoor pool

Beautifully designed, where every detail of a good stay matters.
Pros:

I hardly ever leave a review but Hotel Tipografia do Conto deserves an exception. Exceptionally designed, love how they honored the history of the building and place yet with a new take and considered details, materials, furnishings and decor. I'm lowkey obsessed with it and wished I could have stayed longer. Bonus points for the amazing breakfast spread (included in the rate!), the friendly and hospitable staff (without ever overdoing it!), comfy bed, natural smelling towels and bedding (nothing toxic!), the overall vibe, and a location convenient to the metro and great spots in the city while still being out of the fray in a good neighborhood you could easily imagine living in.

Cons:

At first I had to get used to the ring the doorbell for access even during the day, but came to appreciate the privacy and security.
