Wat een geweldig personeel, zo goed en aardig, ze geven je meteen een welkom gevoel. Het is een prachtige plek tussen de palmbomen en de entourage is zeer prettig, met vol.uitzicht op de zee, je loopt meteen het strand op. Ook het eten is erg goed. Kortom, een topplek!
Niet dat het hotel er iets aan kan doen, maar je kan niet zomaar de zee inrennen en zwemmen. Er liggen veel rotsen in het water en bij eb lijkt het vooral op een rotswoestijn. Daarom waarschijnlijk ook is het hier lekker rustig, weinig toeristen. Buiten de baai schijn je beter te kunnen zwemmen, al is het zwembad bij het hotel ook heerlijk.

The staff members are friendly and very accommodating. I was introduced to the adorable bush babies (little monkeys) that reside on the property which was a treat. The food was great, measuring up to the other restaurants around the area. The pool was nice for the hot days. The location was right smack in the middle of the coastline on the beach. I love the fact that there were plenty of chairs, couches, hammocks, and sun beds all around to relax and take in the atmosphere. Breakfast was included, which was nice. I’d stay again if I return.

De rustige locatie aan het strand en de mooie ruime tuin waar de huizen staan.
Het eten was, op 1 uitzonderingen na, geweldig op smaak. Ontbijt matig. Maar de soepen en warme maaltijden erg goed. Het ademt gemoedelijkheid uit. Fijn zwembad ook.
De bar naast het park heeft soms de muziek hard aan. Het is wat shabby hier en daar: de kussens van de ligbedden en de ligbedden zelf van geknoopt touw bijv. Als je die vervangt dan lijkt het al heel anders. Maar mij maakte dat eigenlijk niet uit. Hou wel van het authentieke karakter.

The staff were super. Very relaxed, kind attentive and friendly. Lovely surroundings with white sand and lots of swaying trees. A little remote but a selection of restaurants available walking along the beach. Nice pool and lots of sunbeds to choose from. With the added pleasure of the Bush Babies!

It’s a hidden gem, one of the last few remaining places that have true character. From beautiful grounds, through private beach to cheerful staff and delicious food we had a wonderful time

There is no washing machines available in the rooms as well as irons .
The location is a quieter part of the island on a bay which has a limited ocean water swimming. I was aware of this but keep in mind depending on what you’re looking for. The pool was fine. Beautiful staff who are welcoming and happy to help, the menu changes daily and I had great dinners here. My room was spacious, and the ceiling fan and mosquito net were helpful. Housekeeping is a good standard.
My suggestions: provide water as part of daily housekeeping. Some newer books and including English titles would be nice. Appropriate storage for bottled red wine ordered and consumed over a couple of nights would make sense given daytime. temperatures.
