I was forced to give one star because giving zero isn’t an option.
I booked a 30-minute Aescape Sky Massage today through the Aescape website. Due to incorrect directions from Google Maps, I couldn’t arrive on time. I got there 15 minutes after my appointment had started, and after arriving, I had to wait another 15 minutes before anyone at the front desk acknowledged me.
After waiting yet another 15 minutes, I was finally told that I would not be able to receive my massage. There was no discount, no refund, and no offer to reschedule my appointment, even though I had emailed ahead to explain that I couldn’t find the location.
I obviously cannot recommend this service. It seems that taking advantage of foreign visitors is an easy way to make money, especially during the FIFA World Cup.
If you’re looking for genuine hospitality and customer service, simply cross the street to the Fairmont Copley Plaza. They will welcome you warmly and provide a much more human and respectful experience.
Good location, and huge building
Front of house staff were not particularly helpful. On checking in I was shoed away from the first reception contact and waived off to someone else, no eye contact just told to “go over there”
When eventually got checked in despite the concierge contact being reasonably friendly he didn’t explain anything about the hotels facilities and just asked for me tj enter my card into the machine for any deposits. Didn’t explain how or why.
Great location, nice clean rooms, comfy beds
Room service was quite pricy. I paid $27 for 2 cans of Pepsi to be delivered to room when my son was sleeping
Hotel was very clean and staff friendly
No pool
Great location, very central . Cleaning of room daily was excellent. Room very spacious.
Staff all friendly and helpful. Bar 10 food excellent.
Wasn't anything didn't like.
Room a little tired for Westin which was a suprise. However communal areas immaculate. Staff incredibly professional and friendly in the bar and at breakfast. Frank Gallagher at Concierge was exceptional at giving very good advice about what Boston has to offer as well as excellent onward travel advice to Martha's Vineyard.
It's near Newbury very convenient. View from the room was good too have a glimpse of Charkes River. The staffs were friendly.
The breakfast is not buffet style. The a la carte breakfast was delicious just need to wait for waitress to get the order, which takes time especially on days where it was crowded. Daily Destination Fee of US30 was not stated in the Booking.com fee. We were given US20 credit daily to waive part of it the amount must be consumed daily so it was quite stressing to get the most out of it for us who stayed for 6 nights. We had to forfeit a 30USD each for the breakfast on the last day as we had an early flight and the restaurant was not opened yet. The hotel was nit flexible enough to do anything about that.
The location is good and the room is spacious. However, the service could be improved significantly. First, we called ahead to ask how many EV chargers they have on site and the lady who picked up phone just rudely replied she doesn't know because she doesn't work in the parking department and make no further effort to provide an answer. I filed a complaint but no further response was provided. Later, when we are in the room, the room service lady opened our door at 8am in the morning of the day we are going to checkout.
la posizione e la vista dalla camera
albergo leggermente impersonale
O hotel fica dentro do shopping e isso
é muito cômodo. A churrascaria Fogo de Chão também fica dentro do hotel.
