Excellent hotel. Clean and beautiful. And after the concert, police were patrolling everywhere. Very safe walking. .
Only thing is lobby was so dark it was hard for us old folks to see anything.
Didn’t buy breakfast. Too expensive for what was offered.
Free breakfast would have been nice.
Registration went well. Nice staff pleasant enough. I liked the pillows.
The restaurant is poor ! Food was terrible , especially for the ridiculous cost. The staff was depressing. Except for one woman.
Location
Price for the ammenties too high
El dormitorio era limpio y hermoso.
Location
Was NOT CLEAN… we had to change rooms! Very dated interior! Hallways were very deem!
Location to stadium
The hotel was very nice. Plenty of stuff to eat and drink, right next fountain square, 10 minute walk to the riverfront.
I didn’t like that my reservation said continental breakfast. But no breakfast was offered. My reservation also said pay at the property. But my card was charged 205 by booking.com and 205 by the Westin Cincinnati. And customer service from both was basically a run around.
I think the location was good for my first time visit the city. The hotel was nice, big and very clean. The location was good and within walking distance or a short drive to lots of great restaurants and things to do.
All interactions with the staff was either not great or bad. The last and final interaction with the Manager (Jaylen) and the fact that our hotel room was nice “may” be the only reason I will ever come back here.
The attached garage to the property is the worst to get into especially with a bigger vehicle, said by my other half who did the driving and said it was dangerous to say the least.
The person who checked me in, that I had to also deal with another two times due to her incompetence and obviously having other places she’d rather be vs at work named “Milan” really needs to up her customer service skills or find a new job.
We also had to have the iron replaced and noticed just in time to finally get a new one to the room and get ready in time for our reservations we had. I had to call down twice to ask for it. Of course Milan answered first with her attitude and the second time I called the gentleman was great and said he would get it right up to us.
The fact there was no microwave and vending machines on the floor made it seem more like a Vegas hotel, since you’d have to go to front desk area to warm any food up.
Finally the Elevators!!
Ugh! So confusing to figure it out and know what to do as a first time guest and noticed others having the same issue. Not sure if the staff was just off that day or they do not actually inform guest of things I feel should be explained on check in or hand out a sheet of paper with some details/Instructions(Tips)
A suggestion area or things to do in area and/or offering a shuttle bus would be a nice touch too.
My room was not ready at check-in and almost missed the event I traveled to Cincinnati for. Hotel was severely understaffed at check in.
Overall, this was a nice place. Good location, clean and comfortable. View into the city and over the fountain square was quite nice.
The room was strangely cold even though the temperature didn't drop below 28C the entire time I was there. Also, no fault of the hotel's but, some live music being played in the square on Friday and Saturday so you'll need ear plugs if you go to bed early.
I was walked from the Westin to the Kinley hotel. The room I had originally booked was a king size suite with a view. The room I was given upon moving was 2 sets of bunk beds for me and my wife who is 7 months pregnant. I didn't find out about the Westin being over booked until we arrived at the hotel where the receptionist acted like we were at the wrong hotel until I gave her my confirmation number. Then she acted as if we were beneath her and couldn't get rid of us fast enough. When I called the hotel to speak to a manager with a general question about my stay, the lady I spoke with on the phone asked if I was even looking at the letter that I was given and if I was smart enough to understand it. The staff I interacted with were absolutely unprofessional and I would advise anyone not to stay at this hotel.
Staff was excellent!!! The hotel room was nice, bathroom in room was way to small... The hotel needs updated!!
