Location, property
Elevators an issue, no button inside elevator.
Ballet not very helpful in terms of public parking, then they charged us anyway
Great location
Front desk didn’t explain much
The bedroom was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious/loved the showerhead. Appreciate the courtesy note when I placed a do not disturb sign that housekeeping did come by but was unable to enter due to the do not disturb sign placed.
The day housekeeping was able to access my room, they did not leave another floor mat. Other than this, I did not have any other issues.
The location the location was excellent
The elevator took forever we checked in and same people were waiting on the elevator still another guest said where are the stairs at? We went and waiting then my husband asked a worker were are the stairs the employee said come on he took us to the stairs I thought it was the 4th floor no were on the 14th floor so we stayed and proceeded to the elevator it took us 1 hr to rooms every time an elevator game up it was full everytime so we saw an employee take a few guest too the service elevator so we took that along with another family that was waiting the service elevator went down and came back keep stopping on floors a few more guest got on service elevator as well 1 hr too get to our rooms it was our 1st time staying there. Alos as much money we spend then you have to pay 25.00 for breakfast!! Other than that it was an coverall beautiful stay! Will differently stay again.
Super clean, great locations and central to downtown Cincy
Horrible experience older hotel and incompetent staffing
Location
Windows did not hold noise out from the outdoor music all I heard was the bass.
Location
The windows let the bass from the music in too loud for me.
Nice building inside
No pool, hard to navigate with one way roads and not well marked for entrance
Bed was comfortable
Location
No room service
Bathroom, one side of the shower is the toilet, the other the door stop which I scraped my foot on. Too close to the shower when stepping out.
Having to use the room key every time to get on the elevator. Then my wife cut her foot on the escalator trying to take our bags down because I turned the key in to get from the lobby floor down to the " other" elevator you have to use to get to the parking lot.
Having to pay for parking every time I leave the hotel or pay $50 a day for valet
Guess they have satellite because it rained and the TV lost signal.
The room was extremely clean, and the bed was super comfortable. We had tickets to a baseball game and the location was perfect for walking to the ballpark!
The bathroom needed a little tlc from maintenance. I didn't notice until I had gotten out of the shower and looked in the mirror that there was a rubber seal hanging out of the light in the shower. It actually caught me off guard because the way it hung down made it look like a snake! By the time my husband got out of the shower it had completely fallen out and onto the floor. We picked it up and placed it on the back of the toilet for housekeeping to see.
Clean, quiet, in a great location.
I wish it was advertised somewhere that the swimming pool has been closed since COVID. We booked this hotel because - among other things - we were looking forward to go swimming with the kids. When we were unable to find the pool and presented to the front desk in our swim gear, we were told the pool was closed. Suffice it to say: the children were very disappointed.

Great location. Very clean with a wonderful staff. Parking on site on Vine Street!
After booking the Westin nearly a year in advance directly through the Marriott Bonvoy site for a conference a few blocks away, I arrived on the day for check-in and was told the room wasn't ready. No biggie - it was before noon. An hour or so later, I received a phone call from the hotel telling me that my reservation was being cancelled because the hotel was oversold and they were moving me to a Courtyard Hotel across the river in Kentucky. The front deck staff was apologetic, and they offered to compensate me for one night of my two-night stay and some Marriott points. Yes, it was something, but the inconvenience of this move was more significant the room comp and points offer.
Before making the trip to the Courtyard, instinct told be to call to verify my reservation and I was told that they had me down for one-night, but they couldn't accommodate the second night. At this point, I had to speak with the Westin front desk to have them to confirm that I was indeed confirmed for two nights. After a $25 Uber ride to go 1.8 miles, I checked in at the Courtyard, which now created a logistical challenge getting back and forth to my conference.
It gets better though! After the first night, I receive an AMEX alert showing a charge from the Courtyard for $600+ for the second night. I immediately went to the front deck and was told that their rate for the second night was $549 plus tax, which was not communicated to me before I was moved. My original rate at the Westin was $379/night plus tax.
In short, I was screwed out of my reservation that I made nearly one year in advance. Then, moved from a full-service hotel to a mid-tier hotel out of the city center and charged more per night for the privilege. As I type this review, I've been on hold for over 1.5 hrs. waiting to speak with a manager in Marriott's customer service about this situation. Absolutely egregious!
