This hotel is old and needs a renovation, but so does the staff. Firstly, the rooms and the bathrooms are very worn. The pillows are foam and firm - not the usual fluffy Westin pillows. The hallways are filled with garbage and the service at the restaurant is very slow. Do not stay here.
I stayed at the Westin Atlanta Airport while attending a training program from August 6–10, 2026, and unfortunately, this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had.
During my stay, my room was entered without my consent on multiple occasions—Friday, August 7, Saturday, August 8, and Sunday, August 9.
On Friday morning, I was actually in my room when housekeeping entered without knocking or announcing themselves, despite the Do Not Disturb sign displayed on my door.
More concerning, I was informed by police that their investigation showed a hotel staff keycard was used to enter my room Saturday night.
Then, on Sunday, August 9, ALL of my personal belongings were removed from my hotel room. This included my luggage, clothing hanging in the closet, toiletries from the bathroom, items from the dresser, food from the refrigerator, and even a gift bag and materials I received during my training.
When I initially reported what happened, my interaction with the front desk was extremely upsetting and offensive. Rather than showing concern about the disappearance of an entire room full of a guest’s belongings, I felt as though I was being accused of somehow being involved in the disappearance of my own property.
It took approximately three days to hear back from the hotel, and that communication came only after police returned to investigate the incident.
This situation has caused significant frustration, inconvenience, and additional expenses. What is equally disappointing is that, as of this writing, I have received no meaningful resolution from the hotel—no room compensation and no reimbursement or compensation for my missing personal belongings and resulting expenses.
I never imagined that I would have to worry about my personal belongings—or repeated unauthorized access to my room—while staying at a Westin hotel.
This experience has completely changed my perception of the Westin brand. I will not stay at this property again, and based on how this situation has been handled, I would have serious reservations about staying at another Westin.
Guests should be able to leave their belongings in their hotel room and reasonably expect them to still be there when they return. Absolutely unacceptable.
The room was very clean and comfortable.
The bar staff was not attentive. After watching the 2 staff members interact with everyone else but not even acknowledge our presence after 5 minutes, we finally walked away.
I loved the hotel and the stay
but the parking was really outrageous for 2 people we spent for on night stay 80 dollars for parking. Next time I do a stay it would be cheaper to take a Uber there.
I had the misfortune of having my flight cancelled and having to stay overnight in ATL. I booked this hotel quickly worried that alot of them in the area would get booked up given all the flight cancellations, and glad I did.
The airport shuttle bus right outside the terminal was convenient - I didn't even realize it when I booked it. I was ready to get an Uber! It's a short ride to the hotel from the airport. The Westin was a good property from the lobby, to the restaurant and other common areas like the gym. The restaurant on the first floor had a good meal for me with good service..
I had a room on a high floor overlooking the runway. You could hear the planes come and go but not loud enough to impact sleep.
The room was a little on the small side but had a nice couch to relax in. The Westin bed and pillows are always consistent which is a plus and gives you a good night sleep.
If I'm stuck in ATL again - I wouldnt think twice to book this hotel.
I can’t think of any negatives at all about this hotel. Appreciated the free airport shuttle. Check-in was quick and efficient. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Air conditioner works great! Breakfast buffet was wonderful. All of the ladies in the restaurant were so friendly, and a special shout-out to Aisha for helping us sort out our meal vouchers from Delta. We would definitely stay in this hotel again.
The staff at the restaurant and bar were excellent! Food and drinks were great!
Shower floor was very slippery
The room was comfortable and the hotel is very close to the airport.
The parking lot has a tunnel that goes under the hotel drop off. If you have luggage, there are many stairs to navigate to get up to the lobby with no other options.
I went to the bar to get a drink and some food and it took forever. The staff was not responsive.
The worst was my wife lost her wallet as we were hauling our luggage up the stairs to check in. We searched everywhere and upon checkout I asked if anyone found a wallet. They had it in their lost and found. You would think that they would have looked to see if they had a guest staying with the name on the turned in license in the wallet. Awful service.
The cleanliness of the room
Only having access to one microwave in the whole hotel ! No convenient for customers. Atleast add 3 extra microwaves in a designated area for guest to warm up left over foods from restaurants inside the hotel. !
Convenient to airport, 24/7 shuttle, clean
Expensive parking, even with hotel discount.
I only spent one night here and my review would be good if it weren’t for the service at the bar. I was sitting at my table for over 30 minutes and no one came to ask for my order or gave me a menu . I had to ask for the menu at the bar and no one came to take the order , the guy at the bar took the order from other two tables but never came to ask for mine. Bar wasn’t even full. Had to leave and order from DoorDash BS
Facilities, comfort, shuttle services. 👍🙌🤙
