Riverside location is nice but you quickly discover it’s not so close to all the places your like to visit.
The complimentary river boat to Iconsiam is great, but offered by many hotels so not a game-changer. Staff at the property are polite and courteous. Breakfast was just okay, it could be improved, particularly the ability to cook eggs!
I’m sorry but no 5 star hotel should have temperature issues with running hot water in a shower. I was scolded because of the constant changes, it’s so bad I couldn’t allow the children to be showered, they could only have a bath. Also, when offering an airport transfer service for 750 baht, I shouldn’t be travelling in an old vehicle that reeked of freshly smoked cigarettes. For the record I liked the driver, he was nice, but the above just shouldn’t happen. Especially when 200 baht higher than our standard arrival taxi and the fact we stayed in a non smoker room.
