We stayed at Shangri-La Singapore from 31st July to 3rd August, and it was easily one of the best hotel experiences of our Singapore trip.
What made the stay special was that Shangri-La felt like more than just a place to stay. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, creating a comfortable and enjoyable experience for the whole family.
The room was very spacious, with a comfortable king-size bed, a large bathroom, coffee maker, kettle, iron, and all the essential amenities for a smooth stay. It had a cozy, relaxing vibe that truly felt like our own little home away from home.
Our kids especially loved Splash, the water-play area, and we enjoyed watching them have fun just as much. The beautiful birds around the property were another highlight — something both the kids and we appreciated. It gave the hotel a peaceful, nature-filled charm.
A particularly touching moment was during our son’s birthday month. Since we were travelling and couldn’t arrange a cake ourselves, the hotel surprised us with one to make his day extra special. It was a thoughtful gesture we’ll always remember. ❤️
The staff also deserve a special mention. Everyone we met was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful, making our stay even more comfortable and memorable.
What stood out most was the atmosphere — cozy, peaceful, family-friendly, and luxurious all at once. It felt less like a hotel stay and more like a shared family experience filled with memories.
For families travelling with kids, I would definitely recommend Shangri-La Singapore. ❤️

The room was very comfortable. It was in the Valley Wing on the 6th floor. We could not fault breakfast in the Valley Wing.

Staff were amazing and caring our children were always treated with the same respect as us and the options for the children were fantastic the splash buds and the beautitul kept grounds our youngest kept disappearing to the koi ponds and the turtles she loved it.
Restaurant the line was busy at times the dedicated kids little restaurant was fantastic.
High tea and canapés were presented each day with such great standard and allowing a gluten free option for our eldest nothing wasn't much to ask.
Rooms we had interconnected and wow so big and rooms cleaned daily and turn down service.
Restaurant we ate at a few and pool service very nice.
Staff from the check-in to the day we left superb I would love to mention all the staff you were exceptional. Anyone looking for a great place this is it.

酒店去乌节路的shuttle bus一小时一趟，满了就自己走着去，还告诉你你会出汗。给的解决方案很搞笑让步行到达，我等了20分钟来了车满了没座位了。还有酒店valley wing 的早餐餐厅永远排队。永远排队。酒店失物招领就是如同虚设，孩子的游泳圈落在了Splash，打电话给宾客中心给找，说没找到。我自己第二天去Splash直接看到在前台自己拿回来的。然后就是打电话给酒店中文服务。根本没有，您就不需要设定这个了。既然没法实现。第二次入住，酒店前台的马来女态度很差。失望
The hotel was very vibrant and welcoming. The kids got a welcome kit which was a nice touch upon arrival since I was traveling with my family. The hotel offered food tours and other activities which is useful if you are a tourist looking to explore. The pool was well maintained and operated from very early hours till post sundown which we enjoyed. The restaurant selection was good and the food was good.
The kids play area should be a complimentary amenity offered by the hotel like most hotels rather it's paid here which was a bit odd for me.
We had an overall lovely stay at the Shangri-La Singapore. The hotel is beautiful, the staff were friendly, and we really enjoyed our time there. A particular highlight was the family facilities. Both the Splash Zone and the main pool always had attentive lifeguards on duty, which made us feel very comfortable and safe, especially with children.
However, we were quite disappointed with the lack of information provided at check-in. We weren’t given any overview of the hotel facilities or what was included with our stay. For example, we only discovered from another guest that access to the Splash Zone was included. By the time we found out, we’d already missed the opportunity to use it on our first day. As access was based on the number of nights stayed, this also meant we couldn’t use it on our check-out day without paying extra.
We also weren’t told basic information such as breakfast times or where to find details about the hotel’s facilities. In addition, we assumed the indoor soft play area was included, but later found out it wasn’t. A simple overview at check-in explaining the facilities, opening times, and what is and isn’t included would have made a big difference to our experience.
Despite this, we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend the hotel. With a more informative check-in process, the guest experience would be even better.
