Anthony was very friendly!!!
Clean rooms, good space.
You can listen to all the noise of the people next to your rooms and that is really uncomfortable and really annoying.
Alan and Anthony were very professional and prompt! Thank you so much for taking great care of our car!
Anthony was amazing! Great smile and awesome energy!
Sheraton raleigh nc...alan..Ahmed and jalissa were great!!
Great service. Very quick to help. Unloading car. Explaining how it all works. Didn’t call ahead but they didn’t mind helping.
Julissa was such a sweetheart in valet! Great experience all around
Alan, the valet was super nice. Great experience.
Staff was wonderful, A+. Every one of them I encountered was helpful and friendly, most especially Celestine at the front desk who saved me from a FedEx emergency. But that is, unfortunately, the end of the good news.
This was clearly once a very nice hotel that is in great need of refreshing. Old, chipped furniture, chewed-on sofa cushions, worn carpets, filthy residue on the bed headboard from perhaps thousands of oily heads pressed up against it, pan-flat pillows, filthy, aged headboard-mounted reading lights, only two workable USB’s (old school USB-A).
An extremely odd choice of desk and dresser combo with a bizarre lip encircling it which prohibits placing the TV there, so they put the 65” TV dead center on the desk, meaning you can’t use the desk at all. I had to move this huge TV and then crawl under the desk to reconnect power in order to get any work done here.
Tiny college dorm fridge too small to be of much use and the old school dresser/desk combo left no room for it so it’s kind of tossed off in a corner of the room (which is why I saw no refrigerators in any of the photos online and had to call to confirm they had one).
No microwave in the room or on ANY of the floors. So you have to take the Walk of Shame to the lobby in your PJ’s if you wanna warm up soup. Perhaps 1000+ gusets, ONE tiny microwave down at the front desk.
HVAC system quit after Day One. The engineer tried to fix it but couldn’t so it just blew ice cold air on me the entire time.
Cockroach in the bathroom, toilet so low to the floor (and no safety railings or grab-holds) that seniors will struggle to squat way, way down to use it and struggle even harder to get up.
Someone in a room nearby left their toilet running all night, resulting in a loud THUNK! approximately every eight to twelve seconds, every time the toilet recycled. So, no sleep there. It also meant playing Russian Roulette with the morning shower because every few seconds that room’s toilet would recycle and THUNK! no cold water so you get scalded.
Awakened in the middle of the night by guests pounding on their room door because they’d left their teen daughter to go partying and the kid bolted the door and apparently slept like a rock. I contacted the front desk to request security and was told, in a dismissive tone, “Oh, that’s just parents trying to wake up their child,” which was infuriating, that the front desk didn’t seem to connect the dots between parents trying to wake up their child and them waking up everybody. And, once awakened, I cannot go back to sleep, so no sleep for me that night, either (refund please?).
They woke up every guest on the floor before security finally arrived and only THAT gentleman had the common sense to simply call the room landline, which is loud and, yes, woke the kid up.
As much as I liked the people who worked there, I can’t recommend this place. It’s also heartbreaking to have to walk past much nicer hotels in order to get to the convention center and wish you’d booked virtually anywhere else.
The service of the Sheraton is absolutely fantastic. We went there for Galaxycon and not only was it right next to the convention center, there were plenty of food places right next door.
The stars of the show were Anthony and Ryan, Anthony helped us with our valet parking (and made easy work of our bags after such a long vacation) and Ryan was our bellhop who also helped us pack up our room.
The only reason I am giving four stars is because there were some small problems with the room cleanliness, but everything else was spot on.
Everyone was friendly, helpful and wonderful. Thank you for everyone working at the Sheraton for making our stay amazing!
Fantastic location for GalaxyCon! Staff was friendly and helpful. We opted for Valet parking, 100% worth the price. Everyone was so thankful, helpful and had a fantastic attitude!!
We were here for a wedding and it was wonderful! The gentlemen working the valet parking area were great-so helpful, professional, friendly, and had complete control of the very busy parking area. Housekeeping was friendly and did a very nice job, and the front desk staff was incredible.
AC was broken - room was 85 degrees all night
AC was broken - room was 85 degrees all night
Not much
AC did not work. My room never got below 78. Staff was rude
Location and staff
Little upgrades in rooms needed. They are very clean though. New pillows
Nice location
My air wasn’t working that well. Room was hot
The location
I paid over 200 dollars to stay at this hotel that you have to pay for breakfast no microwave the TV barely worked small beds not to mention even a pool. Never again! I paid 180 at Hampton inn suites for a bigger bed a pool microwave and a good ass breakfast for FREE. The only reason I choose this hotel is bc my daughter is graduating at the convention center. One more thing the parking you have to pay to stay at a hotel that’s supposed to be a fancy hotel.
Easy check in and parking. Nice lobby area to meet friends.
rooms seem a little dated. Bathroom tub and sink were stopped up and could have used an upgrade.
