Comfort in the room, bed, pillows, cleanliness, surroundings, relaxed atmosphere… The walk to the centre is very beautiful by the water… everything I expected were good. I would come back.
There is no end to improving the service quality, everyone has been trying their best, there could be more convenience items ie- nail polish to buy.

Our family had a fantastic stay at the Mar Monte Hotel. Everyone we interacted with—Rob and Danielle at the front desk, the valet team and the restaurant staff—was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service.
We loved the afternoon lemonade and cookies, the cozy lobby area with fire pits, and the hotel’s great location with easy beach access across the street. The combination of warm hospitality and a perfect Santa Barbara location made for a wonderful family vacation. We look forward to returning!

Convenient location for beach and restaurants. The newly renovated Costa restaurant is comfortable and the food is good. In the morning, the service is excellent thanks to Pedro, Eric, Amador, Ally and the others. Managers George and Humberto are engaging and efficient. We enjoyed Matt and Jianna at dinner. Special thank you to Bertha in housekeeping, valet David, and Grant at the front desk.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect and our room was great. Bathroom was large and clean. Good shower products. Love the pool bar!
It was fun to pop across the street to the beach and have a lovely walk around the Andree Clark Bird Refuge.

We had another great stay at the Mar Monte. It is the perfect location and it is located on one of the most beautiful beaches in California. We love to walk to Montecito from the hotel and stop for dinner at Ospi. Our room had an amazing view and we left the windows open so we could hear the waves crash all night!! We have been Globalists or Explorists for the last 10 years and travel a ton. We always come back to Mar Monte since it’s our favorite hotel in California! The friendly and kind attitude of the staff at Mar Monte always add to our great experience! This is the 6th review I have left for Mar Monte over the last 18 months so you can tell we definitely think very highly of it!

A beautiful hotel across from the beach that made for a peaceful setting. Nice spacious room. Lauren was fantastic and helping me to check in and also, to help me, when I locked myself out of the room. Grant was courteous and kind at check out.
