Check-in is at 3pm, however the hotel will store any luggage for early arrivals. Should your room be available, you will be provided with keys immediately. To guarantee early arrival your room will need to be reserved from the night prior to arrival at the cost of one night’s accommodations. Please let the hotel know your expected time of arrival.
Check-out time is 12 noon, but the hotel are happy to extend your check out time (subject to availability.) Please let the hotel know your anticipated time of departure if possible. If the hotel is exceptionally busy they do reserve the right to charge a late check-out fee.
Extra beds are ONLY available in Junior and Executive Suites and not in any Standard rooms.
Please be aware that on arrival at the hotel a credit or debit card or cash deposit must be provided for a pre charge/ authorization for the accommodations and for any extras. As a standard hotel policy, upon arrival an amount of £50.00 per night will be temporarily pre authorized on your card or taken as cash deposit towards any extras during your stay with us. Anything that is not used will be released from your card upon your departure from the Hotel.

Great location. Friendy staff. Our room, the Study, was quaint and unique. We would like to stay in it again when we next visit London.
The price, like everything else in London, is high.
We had a twin room that was really disappointingly small, for £418 I thought it would be larger or that we would have a bath
Visited Stanley's Rooftop at the chesterfield and was blown away by the service received. From the moment we arrived we were well taken care of and someone was always on hand to suggest the next cocktail. The food and drinks were fantastic and the live music was a lovely touch. We will certainly return.
I was in London to attend the premiere of a concert and decided to stay at the Chesterfield because I have stayed there in the past. It is an amazing hotel primarily because the staff is outstanding and eager to help in anyway.

This was a very pleasant way to spend an afternoon — an excellent selection of teas (including a delicious chocolate tea), tasty sandwiches, scones and sweets, and ending with a selection of candies “to go”. In addition to the regular selections, they also offer special vegetarians vegan menus. The staff was great and offered re-fills in everything. Delightful!
Five nights at the Chesterfield and would highly recommend. Room was very clean and staff welcoming and prompt. Great location for walking to many London must see places. The neighborhood has many pubs, restaurants and shops. Fun and safe area to explore and walk.
There is a roof top bar that is cozy and inviting. We also liked the lounge with live music. The dining for breakfast and dinner was exceptional quality and service.
Would stay here again when in London.
The Chesterfield is our go to Hotel when in London - the best location - walking distance to shopping (Regent and Oxford St's), the best restaurants and nightlife (Soho and the West End) and all the Royal sights (Buckingham Palace, Green Park).
Fantastic service - big shout out to Darren and Joszef in the Concierge Team.
But - its got even better!!
The new addition of Stanleys rooftop bar and the refurb of Sems Bar (The Terrace Bar) just make the Hotel unbeatable.
Stanleys in particular is stunning, great drinks, bar snacks (Try the Lobster Roll) and again superb service from Alejandro.
I don't know how they keep finding the great staff, but whatever Red Carnation are doing, lots of Hospitality businesses could learn from them.
I forgot! - Michael in Sems has only been there for 4 weeks but again fantastic..

We have chosen The Chesterfield as our number 1 hotel in London for more than 30 years.
My wife and I had a wonderful 5 night stay at the Chesterfield. The hotel is classy, historic, understated and ideally located, with easy access to the Green Park underground station. Even so much of what Mayfair, SoHo and west London have to offer are within easy walking distance. Our room was just the right size and very quiet. Breakfast was excellent and there is a lovely bar with superb piano player. After a busy day the perfect place for a nightcap. What made our trip truly memorable was the superb staff. Jozsef, Gyuri, Istva’n and others who names we regrettably forgot to jot down were highly professional, personable & hospitable. Housekeeping had our room turned over every day well before noon and as an avid newspaper reader it was a nice touch to have delivered to our room the daily papers. Many thanks to the entire Chesterfield team for a delightful time. We hope to return in the future.
From the moment we walked into the doors of The Chesterfield Mayfair to the time we left, we were treated like royalty. The staff were friendly and so helpful. We enjoyed our complimentary afternoon tea (and even had second helpings!). The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and elegant. The bar was excellent, with a piano player and excellent cocktails. I would recommend the Chesterfield Mayfair to everyone.

They fell down on the small things. For example, we had afternoon tea. The welcome drink we were promised never arrived. The service was slow. At breakfast the service was also slow. The waiter also cleared and reset the tables either side of us whilst we were still eating which we found off putting. He also poured coffee by leaning across me instead coming around to my right.
Wonderful and helpful staff, excellent rooms with character, fantastic breakfast!
