Check-in is at 3pm, however the hotel will store any luggage for early arrivals. Should your room be available, you will be provided with keys immediately. To guarantee early arrival your room will need to be reserved from the night prior to arrival at the cost of one night’s accommodations. Please let the hotel know your expected time of arrival.
Check-out time is 12 noon, but the hotel are happy to extend your check out time (subject to availability.) Please let the hotel know your anticipated time of departure if possible. If the hotel is exceptionally busy they do reserve the right to charge a late check-out fee.
Extra beds are ONLY available in Junior and Executive Suites and not in any Standard rooms.
Please be aware that on arrival at the hotel a credit or debit card or cash deposit must be provided for a pre charge/ authorization for the accommodations and for any extras. As a standard hotel policy, upon arrival an amount of £50.00 per night will be temporarily pre authorized on your card or taken as cash deposit towards any extras during your stay with us. Anything that is not used will be released from your card upon your departure from the Hotel.

We came for the afternoon tea and had an amazing experience. Excellent service and food. The tea was divine.
Fabulous stay last weekend at The Chesterfield; this was our third visit. The hotel is outstanding, great ambiance throughout and lovely staff who are all very welcoming from the lovely gentleman who looked out for our taxis to the chap who brought in our cases. Thanks to Israel on Reception who checked us in with charm and professionalism, and Florence in the dining room who was delightful and very helpful. The bar is charming, delicious nibbles served with cocktails and drinks. This lovely hotel is luxurious but completely lacks pretention and you can see that the guests enjoy this ethos. We will definitely be back soon!
My wife and myself stayed with you for 2 nights and our 2 sons (plus wives) came to stay for one night.
The overall stay was out of this world. We all loved the quintessentially English feel the hotel had. The rooms were spotlessly clean and wow, the best air conditioning we've ever experienced.
The front desk staff were friendly helpful, efficient and so accommodating. (We requested early check in for our 2 sons but one of the rooms wasn’t quite ready however your team solved this minor problem immediately by finding an alternative room which I'm guessing was a slight upgrade.
The Piano Bar was magical and the breakfast was arguably the best we've ever had (and I'm 64 so I've had a few!). Every staff member we saw or passed in the corridor cheerfully greeted us and your 'Stanley's' Roof Bar was a great place for a to relax and enjoy an alfresco drink and snacks.
We loved literally everything about this hotel. If we had to choose a stand out member (and that's tough) then our favourite would be the doorman, grey haired (possibly French?) - Such a friendly and inviting man and the perfect choice to welcome people to the hotel.

Absolute top-notch service from the wonderful staff at Chesterfield Mayfair. Thank you to all who made our stay remarkable! Excellent linens and comfortable sleep in a timeless, elevated atmosphere. Clean, quiet, and well-located. We were spoiled by staff who delighted us with stand-out hospitality, surprised us with delicious treats delivered to our room, and provided excellent care during our 5 night stay. Everyone we encountered on staff seemed to be perfectly suited for their role.
I feel here as at home. Everyone is super friendly and caring
Everything was perfect. Though, I think the quality of breakfast use to be better (breads). The breakfast is still really good.

We had such a lovely stay at the Chesterfield , from the moment we arrived the staff were all so attentive and welcoming, Our suite had little touches as we were staying for a birthday that made it even more special , my daughter loved it and felt very grown up , all the staff made sure we were happy and all had great knowledge about the Hotel,
I loved the decor and notes to the heritage of the founders of the hotel.
we had drinks , coffee, breakfast and dinner at the hotel all were first class and the food was really tasty , My daughter loved the add of the old fashioned sweet stand and I loved the new rood top bar Would recommend this Hotel to all my friends.
The staff were very helpful and polite. The a/c was wonderful although a little too chilly so I turned it off.
The snack we had with our evening drink on August 3rd was rather weird, with what tasted like jam between two layers of pastry. A strange snack to have with savoury olives, feta (?) and Twiglets.
Breakfast was rather disappointing. The coffee was not very hot, and bitter. I had to send my toast back as it was overdone The omelette was excellent.
Beautiful location and property
Superb hotel . The staff cannot do enough for you , extremely comfortable and we were delighted to discover Stanley’s Rooftop Bar, a great addition. I cannot fault this wonderful establishment .
Great restaurant and staff. Everything was elegant but never stodgy.
The shower needed a full sliding door. The swinging glass partition did not keep the bathroom floor dry.
